The Meg is exactly what you expect it to be. It plays up the classic shark movie stereotypes. The acting is slightly better than average. Jason Statham is the highlight of the movie.

Asks little more of you than to strap in, put away your phone and enjoy watching a freakishly huge prehistoric eating machine terrorize some scientists before it turns its appetite to a beach full of frolickers on floaties.

This is the way this film is meant to be seen. Only wish other films would come out in 3D. The 3D makes the movie better than it is, but it is still a good movie anyway.

A fun, exciting adventure. The cgi was pretty good. The acting was good. Definitely a good popcorn night film! A definite watch, especially, if you like movies about the ocean.

Evidently the Megalodon was an actual sea (shark) creature from pre-historic times. This movie, with Jason Stratham in the lead role, was a lot of fun to watch. That's if you like these types of movies. I enjoyed it.

Was not expecting this movie to be as good as it was. It’s been a while a great shark movie has been released. Picture was awesome, and happy to add this movie to my collection.

I didn't have high expectations for this movie since it was about a giant shark so to me it was an enjoyable movie based on the storyline! Jason Statham made the movie exciting.

Movie was good - very creative work on the Meg. We have Meg teeth (up to 5.5") and was neat to share those with grandkids after watching the movie. Not your usual 'shark' movie.

This is a Christmas gift for my son. We saw the movie in the theater and loved it, so of course he wanted the DVD. It came when it said it would, maybe even a day sooner, and I got it when they had an amazing sale on it!

Great summer flick, i found The Meg to be a very fun film, the type you relax and have a couple beers while watching. Only complaint I have is the picture quality is so so for 4k.

Told Robert Taylor (Longmire) that THE MEG was the number one movie at the box office after the opening weekend. He stated, "That silly shark movie?" Entertaining with several GOTTCHA moments. Great visuals and sound.

This film is a fun and entertaining ride. The whole film is to have a good time with friends and family! I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a movie night. This steelbook is the edition you want for your collection.

Statham is always great and the cast around him was equally good. Movie was very good but would have been better suited if they followed the book a more. I still enjoyed it

Ok it was a little funny at some point all this action with a shark. Cast was good story was good but not another jaws movie. But thank god this shark is long gone by now.

Watched it with my grown up son. He thought it was laughable joke of a movie. I thought it was pretty good. Last time I invite Him to movie night.

Loved the book been waiting for movie not disappointed. While the book opening was an awesome setup for the story, i understand why they didn't do it (the cost) my fingers are crossed that it happens in the sequel.
