Wanna get scared and not have the Evil characters Hollywood usually picks outta the trash see this Movie. A reasonable fright with cute actresses & clean fright !

Wasnt expecting much out of this movie, but it surprised me with the plot and the shark scenes were great. Where else can you see jason statham fight a shark.

I got this for my niece as a holiday present and she liked it. It has a skip on the DVD copy and need to take it back for exchange

This movie is great. It starts off as a kind serious sciencey movie, and then before you know it Jason Statham is dueling a giant shark with a minisub.

Loved the action and suspense. Caught me off guard on a few scenes which made me jump...which made everyone else jump...it was great!!! Loved it and worth the money!

I found the Meg to be a very enjoyable movie. It is not over the top action movie which I like. If you are into Jason Statham then this is the movie for you.

This is a movie that you watch to be freaked out and for the visuals and on those two things you won’t be disappointed.

Forget about Sharknado. This movie is over the top, but that's the good thing. Add to this the quality of the video and the great sound track and you have a winner.

This is a great movie in the spirit of the old adventure films. My whole family loves it. Exciting built not too scary. Keeps moving and lots of fun!! Two fins up!

The Meg is a great action film which should have been made and released 21 years ago when the first book came out in 1997. The movie still works even though Steve Alten's book is a bit different as far as the ending, and some of the characters roles. The Meg did tremendous at theaters with over $500 million worldwide. This was due to Warner Bros and Gravity Pictures amazing promoting they did. The Meg series has 5 books, soon to be a sixth and there are fans that have waited along time for this movie. Its worth checking out the movie. I won't give away any of the plot or secrets. There is plenty of underwater/above water action & the shark is seen quite a lot. This movie cannot be compared to Jaws because that's an entire different story from many years ago. The Meg will never be Jaws, and it doesn't need to be. Don't try to compare this to the Syfy Shark Movies, Sharknado, or The Asylum's Shark Mockbusters. This was a huge budget film with great effects, music, cinematography, editing. The story and acting are decent. Looking forward to The Meg 2: The Trench with plenty more sharks and other creatures!!

I love shark movies and this is a bit different than other shark movies since its the megalodon. Its got action and horror plus Jason Statham. Whats not to love.
