this movie was very good. i had nothing to expect because i had never heard of the movie. in the first death scene, when the guy is getting dragged around by the tentacles, i thought the movie was gonna be corny, but i was wrong. this was one of the best movies of all time. the only bad thing is i heard the ending was changed in the movie from how it was in the book and i think they should have kept the stephen king ending.

This is the greatest movie about human interaction ever made. Ok, forget about the mist with creatures inside, because the real movie is about how people react when they are in a place, where no help is coming, and have to wait it out. The acting in this movie is extremely great and chemistry is explosive. If you buy this movie you will not be disappointed, trust me.

This movie gets going quite quick which is really nice. Lots of intense scenes and action. Without giving anything away, it was very good in my opinion. A lot of blood, gore and kinda bad acting. It looks a character looks straight at the camera. However, all in all it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. You should get this movie.

If you like movies that make you question your own judgment in the "what you do" sequences, then you may enjoy this movie. It had a good plot, somewhat good character development, but did leave some things unexplained. I would say what those were however, it would ruin a crucial part of the movie for those who have not seen it yet!

this was a great movie. most of the time im a bit dissapointed about how king movies turn out, but this really surprised me. the suspence from the monster is all there and it never looses focus on one of the most important elements in a king story the human element. watch it its great and the ending is killer too.

The movie is based on the book by the same title.It seems that the military has been messing with an experiment called project arrowhead,that's where all the mist comes from.The actors sell the movie pretty much as there locked inside a grocery store wondering who or what is in the mist.Thou some of the characters are dumb as rocks in some sceens.The plot is the same way with the mist blowing into town covering everything with a pure white steam.But the movie is too long, it could have been shorter, they could have left some things out of the final cut.And the ending was terrible, I won't spoil it for you, but it was pretty lame.But if you like horror monsters,violence,and gore then see this one,if not pass on it.

THIS MOVIE WAS GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE MESSED UP ENDING-IT WAS INTERESTING AND SCARY.I LIKED THE WHOLE MOVIE INCLUDING THE MESSED UP ENDING.IT WAS PRETTY COOL.I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS TO A COUPLE OF FRIENDS.LOTS OF COOL WEIRD INSECTS .CREEPY .

This was a movie I had no interest in, but I went to it with my family and loved it. It was very entertaining with good action and even had humor (crazy church lady). It was all very enjoyable but the ending for the main character blowssss (watch it)

The special effects are really nice. I'm a very difficult peron to scare, but this movie did it. Kept my interest, plot moved right along. This is a must see for monster lovers.

I liked this movie a lot. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The ending was so shocking every time I think about it I still can not believe how it ended. I recommend this to anyone that likes scary movies.

Ordered for my daughter who loves horror movies. Took her to see movie when it was in theaters. Was totally shocked by the ending. Left an impression on all of us. Steven King is an amazing writter and I love most of his stuff.

one of Stephen King's best storys in YEARS has finely been made into a movie & to top it off Frank Darabont Directing it just WOW. I'm a HUGE King fan & I LOVE Frank Darabont's movies everything he touches turns to gold.

This movie had my attention the whole entire time. The ending was the worse part because it just makes you say...OMG so close! Loved it, Definite must see.

This was a great movie. Stephen King always keeps you on the edge of your seat with his films. I loved the graphics and watching the unexpected terrors in the film. I absolutely hated the ending. It ruined it for me. I would have given it 5 stars if the ending were different.

the movie in the begining is ok and has alot of good problems?events that happen . but what really made my uncle , brother and me mad was the ending . But over all it was a good , not the best but a good stephen king movie.

this movie could've been a lot better. Mostly the ending ruined it for me. And it's not because the ending was sad, but because the ending was ridiculous. Before I say something too revealing about the end of this movie I must move on; the movie was actually full of good acting and some very interesting moments, The actress who played the religious fanatic (whose name I cannot type, due to a profanity filter on this website) should have been nominated for some kind of award for making herself so easily unlikeable, but I guess we'll all be fine without that having happened.

Why, why, why did they have to change the ending!!! I read the short story years ago and LOVED it. I found out they were making the movie a few years ago and couldn't wait to see it. It came out on DVD I was first in line. Loved the movie, followed the story perfectly, then the ending... I was so disapointed, my husband never read the story and he didn't like the ending but not as much as me. Why did they have to butcher the movie? The original ending was too Alfred Hitchcock, that was how Stephen King wrote it, why would you change it!!!!! I'm sorry but I just can't express in writing how disapointed I am!
