Made be proud to be an American watching how our country behaved during one in the worst times in the history of the world. It is a great telling of a true story about WWII that few people know about.

I saw this movie in theaters and enjoyed it enough to buy it on Blu-Ray. Great cast, excellent story - great for any history buff!

This movie was well written and had a lot of great actors. It was very interesting as I had heard about the art works being taken, but never quite understood the volume. This movie put it in perspective.

Usually don't get to theaters, hear good things about a movie from those who do see them and then am eager to watch for myself. The story was fascinating. War is a horrific reality in far too many ways!

Great cast and a very interesting story. As usual some liberties were taken with some historical facts/figures to make a good movie.

Based on a true story.. No one wants their culture to be wiped from history.. "The monuments men" as they were called set out to try and save Artistic treasure from being destroyed by "German Soldiers"

Great movie about a group of people history never really told us about. I never knew about the "Monuments Men" when I went to school and learned about WWII history. Great story and great group of actors!

During the world war 2 invasion, famous art collections were stolen and retrieved by a special group called the monuments men

Made a great Christmas gift and has a great cast exploring the travesty of hitler's quest to destroy the history of people groups.

I liked It enough to buy it after seeing it on the big screen, but after a second viewing I realized they could have added more drama.

An absolutely outstanding film. Was not sure about Bill Murray as a serious character but he was amazing as were all the actors. Definitely worth multiple views to catch all the nuances of the story.

It was a movie that I did not expect to like because just had no idea that this was really had happen in our history! It was a great way to learn about how ART was saved for is to enjoy to this day.

For history guys (& gals) you will like this one. It is a little-known story of WWII and the acting is very good. Plus art is cool and even the enemy was trying to preserve it!

I loved this movie. Gives a great historical overview of what happened to fine art during WWII. Not completely accurate - but enough of a start for someone who doesn't know the history.

One of the best war movies ever made. Based on factual events. The great cast gives the viewers a good time.
