I enjoyed this movie. This was a historical story that I never knew. Very interesting. I'll have to watch it again. Best part is the digital copy for my Vudu collection.

I had seen the previews and it looked good, i saw the movie and i liked it. Not really an action film or a thriller, but has elements of both with great actors.

Saw this in the theater and knew I had to own it. Little known events of WWII where soldiers put their lives on the line for cultural treasures. Well done.

I had no idea the efforts these men went through to recover the stolen art that Hitler had hidden away. Some of it was shocking, such as the barrels of gold teeth. One can only imagine the torture the Jews and their supporters went through.

Wonderful movie. This must have been based on what really occurred with the great works of art that was lost during WW 2. I recommend that you watch is move.

Great cast & interesting topic about the valuable art that was stolen and hidden by Germans during Hitler's reign. Interesting information to share with the world through film. Very enjoyable with a range of emotions throughout!

I don't usually buy physical discs, but picked up this movie for my new 4k TV. It was entertaining and filled with heart, and suitable for the whole family.

No wonder that many people would try to save the ancient arts because we could see how well we can achieve the valuable human mind of creativities.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I had never heard of this in any of my history classes. The acting was great as was the directing. I've rewatched it 4 times now and each time I've noticed something I missed before. Just a fantastic movie.

This is a great story of a small group of men that isn't taught in the history books. If it wasn't for people trying to save art, we would have precious little left.

I knew nothing of this story before I watched the film. I wanted to watch it because Hugh Bonneville was in it and I had seen him on 'Downton Abbey'. Now I want to learn more about the real monuments men and the work they did.

I liked the actors that they got for this movie. I was aware of the history that this movie was based on, and I like the fact that they tried to stay with the facts.

It's not a story about World War II, but a story of preserving culture doing the War. "The Monuments Men" was a allied para-military unit (art & literature professors) given minimum training as soldiers and sent to the European Theater to reclaim, identify, protect and return stolen paintings, books, statues to their rightful owners. At times the movie is a little slow - it's not a movie of action - but one of actions that people are willing to take to protect and defend ALL aspects of life.

Americans should be aware of and understand contributions their country made for the survival of art and culture in a period of continuous great atrocities.

It was very interesting to see a movie based on WWll that was not just based on violence. Did not realize our country (USA) did so much to rescue and save the arts of War torn countries and the Jews. Would highly recommend this movie.

It was very interesting to see a film that is based on events that not a lot of people know about! Clooney did a great job on all accounts! The acting, cinematography, story were all great! I highly recommend it to history and art buffs!

Quite a good film as seen in the theater, but did I need to own it? I wasn't sure until a five dollar bargain materialized, which was too tempting to pass up.

Seems all too often movies with multiple stars seem to fall short of one's expectations. This movie is not one of those movies. Enjoyed this movoe experience.

Although not entirely 100% accurate it was nonetheless entertaining and a bit informative as to what those evil regimes really were like back then!

I thought the movie was good and it had an interesting premise. The thing is the story never really takes off like it seemed like it would. Not terrible though.
