Very predictable and at the end the two of them walking away as though things are final and then running to one an others arms a little silly.

This movie was spectacular because even though it involved only a few actors, the story around them had a significant plot and was well executed. The surroundings and the acting was so well done that you were moved to feel what they felt as they endured hardship. It showed that a movie does not always require super deluxe special effects and many people, but rather a story that can be told with merely a few backed by a good story.

The location cinematography is just breathtaking and the Blu-ray does it full justice along with terrific sound. The story of two plane crash victims surviving on a freezing mountain range in the dead of winter is a stretch. just how did they light all those fires with sodden wood and did they carry lighters if neither was a smoker, we may never know! Winslet and Elba do a fine job though. Well worth a buy at the low Best Buy price.

this reminded me of another film but i cant remember what it was called it was a simple ok story people end up in the wrong side of an airplane crash somewhere in the icy mountains and they have to get to safety before time runs out you can pretty much guess whats going to happen through the movie specially the ending but i still think it was pretty good

Great Movie & ending. Beau Bridges played a good supporting role as the pilot of the plane which crashes in the western US mountains. Movie was about the couple that survived the crash & were able to climb out of the crash site & get back to civilization. During this time their relationship developed into a nice love story. Would recommend this movie to young adults & adults as well.

It's a good movie but a little far fetched. Not sure that this would ever happen to anyone

My personal thoughts: This movie demonstrates under extreme circumstances anyone, no matter their race, sex, man to man, women to women or male and female can develop an intimate bond or attachment to each other. These facts are substantiated and sourced by (Psychology) and basic human nature. Otherwise, this is an amazing movie that is very good.

This movie is one of those that get you thinking about your own experience of flying in an airplane, Idris Elba is fantastic in the role and Kate Winslet is a feisty character that turns warm in the face of adversity. The cinematography is very cool, you should watch on a large screen if possible. The characters are believable and sincere overall very enjoyable film.

I was reading the book before I purchased the BluRay movie and in the book it did not stated about the African American. I thought it was weird and wondered for awhile. In the actually movie, on the cover of the movie, there's a African american. I think I'm going to cheat a little bit watching the movie. I'm sure there's more detail in the book than watching it.

Decent enough drama if you like both actors. The ending is not a satisfying one.

This was a good movie. It kept your interest and suspense of survival was a definite interest. It showed how two unknown people will connect in circumstances beyond one’s control regardless of the person they are. We are all equal.

This movie was a great film. I loved the woman in this flick she was hot.
