The Mule

While good old Clint is always enjoyable, this movie moves at the pace of a mule. Yep, is kind of slow and the ending is, to put it mildly, kind of weak. But it is worth watching if you have nothing to do but see an old guy turn into a drug runner.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's time for Eastwood to hang it up..(no pun intended) This extremely mediocre, soap operatic and meaningless film is an 88 year old's ego trip and nothing more. Although it claims to be "adapted" from a true story, that does NOT make it a TRUE story. The story of an aging drug mule who still thinks he is hot stuff is asinine. Between that idiotic premise..(and his character is TOO stupid to realize this 1st time out, DUH) and the overwrought family melodrama, this was just a waste of time. Some nice scenery to look at, but the story, the acting, the situations, the general plot is mindless. So many better movie to see I would never advise anyone to go out of their way for this one. Sorry Clint, the sun has set on your movie career. Aging star power when the bulb is out. Pretty dismal.
