This movie was ok but i like the the original better

I enjoyed this reboot of The Mummy franchise, along with the twist of the mummy being female. This is an action movie, with a bit of a story, but you're mostly there for the action. The acting is great and the actions sequences are fun... along with the monster feel. Enjoyed this movie!

Tom cruise was a little funny good action clear picture

Its a good movie if you like dark type mummy movies.

Honestly, I loved seeing Brandon Frasier (sp?) in this franchise. Tom Cruise was a reasonable good, solid swap. I really liked the storyline. I can't spoil it for you but you won't be disappointed. I wish they would bring Brandon back for future installments but this one was good.

No where near as good as the original with Fraser.

The special effects are fantastic, and there are some awesome set pieces in the movie. I wish they didnt keep some of the campy humor and stuff from the original mummy movies, this one should have had a more serious tone i think. Regardless i think it was a pretty good movie.

Now this movie is a reboot/remake of the Universal Monsters from back in the day now just updated/upgraded with Tom Cruise in the leading role rebranded so it does follow in suit for continuing the Monster movies since 1 is each connected to the next 1 and so on plus on top of that this is the Collector's Edition awesome great super fantastic very cool movie I recommend it highly!

I really liked this movie. It had a big budget so it had great special effects. A different story line than one would expect based on the title. A real twist on the original " Mummy" story. The critics really killed this movie when it was released. This movie is a perfect example why you should take a critics review with a grain of salt. I added this movie to my collection. I wish their would be a sequel to continue this great story line.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would given the reviews. I thought Tom Cruise did a great job of injecting some comedic elements. Overall I think I enjoyed it more than the last Dragon Emperor movie, effects were cool and action scenes pretty entertaining.

Definitely not a remake of the original Mummy movie's (Neither The 1999 with Brandon Fraser or the 1932 Version with Boris Karloff), however a good watch with shout outs to Vampire, Jackal & Hide, along with the 1999 version of The Mummy. Definitely worth the watch.

Not for every one but I enjoyed it enough to want to see more than once and own it in 4K. This was supposed to be part of a trilogy that will no longer be pursued because it didn't do as well as the studio had hoped. Looks and sounds fantastic in 4K!

If you keep the original movie in mind, then you will totally enjoy this version of the Mummy! The special effects and twist on the storay are perfect for the present time and year. Really enjoyed the movie and have to regrets about my purchase. Great entertainment.

It was a pretty good movie, but not as scary as I had hoped. The video & audio quality were good with my surround system. The 4K version with the Blu-ray was the same price as the Blu-ray with DVD so that's what I bought, preparing for a better TV down the road!

It seems that Tom Cruise never ages and he is built for this action movies! In the spirit of the original Mummy movie as it is less comedic than the Branden Fraser movies, it still brings a fresh take on the often interpreted mummy monster genre!

This move does not rate as high as the original 3 other Mummy movies but it has a lot of action and rates up there with other good movies. If you liked the other Mummy movies try this one you will not be disappointed but it could have been better.

This is the best Mummy yet in the series. Found out one of the most thought-provoking and interesting movies. I can’t me entertained throughout the whole time can’t wait for the sequel to this one hope it is great is this one as well action-packed all the way

Definitely a good movie, don't believe the people who rate it poorly just cause they don't like the main actor. Good Story, great acting and action. its a divergence from the Fraser movies, but without all the slapstick of those it actually makes it better.

Good price for a Good Movie. I purchased this film on line during the black Friday sale. The only problem I experienced was the "Sure Post" delivery where UPS leaves the final delivery up to the Post Office. UPS was great, the Post Office was a nightmare.

Definitely a different/darker take on the old Mummy movies. If you're a Tom Cruise fan, you'll definitely enjoy it. If you're looking for the humorous and action-packed style of the other movies, you may be disappointed. Overall, a movie worth watching.
