Wish they still made movies like this. Miss the action with a bit of comedy. Loved that it came with a digital copy and also a free ticket for the new mummy movie. Sadly the movie didn't last in theaters so I couldn't use it.

This movie is ok for its time. As far as the blue ray menu.. it feels very basic as when the first early bluerays were being introduced. Otherwise, good buy.

This is one of my wife's favorite movies (not so much mine) so we upgraded our DVD to Blu Ray.

As with most trilogies, the first two were better!

Although The Mummy was never going to win Best Picture, it excelled as being a grand action/adventure film that is sure to delight most audiences. The combination of Fraser and Weiss (great on screen couple) along with incredible special effects at its time(sand tidal wave anyone) made for a very fun movie. The locations and set pieces also deserve a nod as they really brought to life the world of The Mummy. The Mummy has never looked better as is present here on Blu-Ray correctly replicating what was shown in theaters. The sound will surely give your audio system a work out too.

'The Mummy' is a great piece of entertainment. The story isn't new, but it is solid and Brendan Fraser is good as a lead. I was hesitant to buy this because Universal Blu-Rays are a little spotty, they tend to lack finer detail. This is an exception, it looks GREAT; Egypt just looks so good on 1080p. For $13 you just cannot say no.

I really like this movie because it deals with ancient egypt history; it is also set in egypt. I have always been intrigued by mummies and ancient egyptian afterlife beliefs. This movie dealt with both of these things. It also has treasure hungry adventures and the beautiful Rachel Weisz. Those who love horror mixed in with some ancient history will definitely love this movie.

I like this movie alot. Its placed in Egypt were lots of people search for treasure. But two groups come accross a curse that can bring the world as we know it to an end. Special features include: Building a Setter Mummy, commentary with director and editor, visual and special effects formation, Egyptology 101, deletes scenes, and more.

Fun-filled and action packed. The Mummy's not perfect, but it's a great popcorn flick!

This is a great movie, it has alot of action and great actors! I would reccomend this movie to anyone.

While credit should be given for making a different kind of mummy movie, the end result here is just a standard big, loud, dumb, SFX-saturated action mess. Rachel Weisz makes an appealing heroine, a amateur archeologist who enlists the aid of an American expatriate(Brandan Fraser, who has Indiana Jones-wannabe written all over him here, which wouldn't be all bad were his character not so annoying) to find the Mummy of the title. Unlike Boris Karloff or Christopher Lee, Arnold Vosloo's Mummy is anything but frightening or pitiable. There are also CGI bugs that run around all through the movie for no apparent reason.
