good movie for a family night around the holidays!!!

Great family movie. fun to sing along to. A classic.

This movie is one of my favorite Christmas movies.

Great film. Disappointed that it's the same release as the 20th anniversary release. It's the literal same. The only difference is the festive slipcover. Best Buy also poorly shipped and it was beat up pretty bad.

Great version of A Christmas Carol! Only problem: big scene skip from the scene with Belle to the last scene with the Ghost of Christmas Past.

How can you resist the Muppets spin on a Charles Dickens classic. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. Great for kids and adults.

This is for my grandkids to enjoy, as I had the DVD for my kids. Fun movie for the whole family.

This is a really good adaptation of the Dickens' tale, especially for kids. Sometimes it looks scary for little ones, but it ends up being funny. I would recommend this over the real tale to get kids involved. My kids have a better understanding that it is a giving holiday! As we watched it the second time, we talked about how Scrooge was changed and it is so much better to be happy and giving than to be a 'scrooge'. Some really great extras on the DVD, such as where they go through each part of the movie telling about the tricks they used. Michael Caine did an excellent job. A worthy holiday family movie!

The Marley's were dead to begin with. I have been watching this movie every year with my mom since I was a kid! The story is a classic, and while the addition of Muppets adds a lot of comic relief Michael Caine's performance as the stern and serious Scrooge makes sure that the film doesn't stray too far from it's roots. The Ghost of Christmas Present is of course my favorite of the three spirits that visit Mr. Scrooge, and most of the Muppets make an appearance in this movie. If you like "A Christmas Carol" or you're a big fan of the Muppets this will be a treat for you!

Where can you go wrong? Charles Dickens, the Muppets, and Michael Caine as Scrooge...it can't fail. Well, except for some songs. Which are annoying. But mostly this is just chock full of character. We (attempt to) watch this every year for Christmas and it's become a tradition. We have it both on VHS and (now) DVD. Huzzah!

I think the greatest thing about this film is the fact that it holds the attention of adults and entertains children. It's witty and low-brow all at once. Best of all this version of the story gets the true meaning of the original story to children, in a way they can understand.

I love how they have gonzo telling the story like he is Charles Dickens. My family and I watch the movie every Christmas Eve and the soundtrack is on my ipod. It is a great family movie and a great honest twist on an old story and lesson. I've even watched when it hasn't been Christmas. I

We love this movie! Every year I want to watch it around the holidays, and it is so hard to find in stores. I went ahead and ordered it off-season so we'll have it for the next holiday season. I thought the price was great! This a fantastic movie for all ages!

i love this movie because its very nostalgic and a classic. gonzo is amazing and even the extras are so meticulously decorated to create an outstanding christmas village scene.
