Decent action but fine performance from Crowe, Banks and Neeson.

Very slow almost all the way to the end I was extremely disappointed watching the reviews I thought it would be better

This movie was garbage. It's been done a million times before and this time hasn't topped the other times. Good luck if you try it but I'd pass on this one if I were you.

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED this film did NOT do well at the box office. Mistake of the studio, released in the USA same day as a Harry Potter movie. I enjoyed the movie. Russell did his usual great job. Good to see Liam IF ONLY FOR 1 SCENE. Yes, you have to buy the plot of a movie that a school teacher is going to get training & skills to break his wife out of jail, etc. There are plot holes. FILM MAKERS, I DID NOT NEED THE THROW UP SCENE. Could have cut away. Russell did a song in it. I had NOT seen Brian Dennehy in ages. Been 20 years since "Presumed Innocent". And, you have to know your stuff. Trudie Styler Sting's wife is in here briefly. A bit long. The ending drug out. I will not input big spoilers here. For a DVD, glad to see some extras on it. Now, complaints on DVD package. One with the card board slip covers. AND, THIS ONE HAS TWO HOLES IN IT, FOR PRICE …….. STUPID MAKES NO SENSE. AND, I KEEP COMPLAINING ABOUT THESE, THE PLASTIC CASES WITH THE INTENTIONAL HOLES IN THEM SO YOUR DVD CAN BE DAMAGED. If you are a fan of Russell’s you will enjoy the film.

I purchased this film not knowing what to expect, but what I got was wonderful. It was a very intriguing movie that literally had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. This is definitely Russell Crowe's best movie since Gladiator as this action packed role suits him perfectly. I highly recommend as this has become one of my most watched movies since it was released.

A must see movie. Definitely one of my favorite Russell Crowe movie after Gladiator. Kinda slow in the begining but makes up for it half way thru the movie.

When I saw the preview for this movie I set my standards high...so I wasn't surprised when they let me down. A good rental but don't blow $25 for blu-ray...

Part suspense and part heist movie (Yes its a prison break movie but those are just inverted heist movies). Just relax and enjoy the movie.

While the acting was good, the plot was so-so and the movie took way too long to get to the payoff. The film could have shaved 20 minutes, and Brian Dennehy was criminally underused. We have seen worse films, but we also have seen better.
