Hollywood is getting sad. Too many remakes and not much originality anymore.

if you enjoyed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, you're going to love this. Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling do a great job together. It's a film where you kind of wish there was a sequel because the characters are great and leave you wanting more, but it's probably better there won't be one.

The movie itself is smart, well-paced, and funny enough to warrant a purchase. However, the only special features are a pair of short featurettes. If you like Shane Black's other work, this is definitely worth owning.

Gosling and Crowe make a shocking comedic dream team in this unapologetically violent crime comedy. They chemistry with each other and the young actress playing Gosling's daughter is the highlight, with the actual mystery, solid as it is, coming a distant second.

Ryan Gosling in a physical action-comedy? Whoever thought of the idea should be crowned genius of the year. With dynamite timing and uproarious gestures, Gosling mines his diverse abilities and becomes a blast in The Nice Guys.

If you're a fan of films like The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction or Lethal Weapon you'll probably be in to this. It captures the style of an 70's era. One of the most enjoyable movies of 2016 in my opinion

Well made comedy that blends film noir with buddy cop comedy that works so well. Great chemistry between the leads. Fine story. Everything meshes together well for one of the best films of the year.

It's a shame this fantastic film was ignored at the box office. It's so close to perfection and deserved so much recognition. The acting and writing are both amazing.
