Not really one of the best movies I have seen that involved Vikings. For the most part, it had a lot of the lore, mysticism, and ethos of the people of the that time. I f you want a taste of some Viking life and culture, this is the movie; however the story was weak, but still worth watching.

bought this on sale due to great hype surrounding the movie. however once purchased and viewed i did not think it lived up to the fanfare the ads showed. i would not recommend this for my own tastes but it could be i was not into this particular movie or stars.

The movie was creative in its premise, artistic with the presentation that would take you back to certain points as a reminder of what it's all about. It was ok to watch 1 time but not in the block buster category.

The trailer looks awesome. The move. decent. But this movie is only good because it is different. The Hollywood hero formula is not used here. Anything else would spoil but you will not necessarily to watch more than once.

I was pretty mixed in this movie overall, very slow and methodically paced. It’s good but not great. Picture and sound quality on this are reference level though

The Northman is a slow burn, fighting scene look realistic. The ending was a pleasant surprise… didn’t end the way I thought the movie would end.

The storyline is difficult to follow, given the retro-scenes. Not enough background on the cultural aspects of the “Viking Culture”.

To much screaming and not enough dialogue. Seems to have gotten lost in his travels. Title does not match story.

Good 4K and sound. Not what I expected but a good Viking genre film, Pathfinder is a good one to pair it with in a box set.
