Couldn't watch it. Horrible movie. Turned it off after 10 minutes

That movie was trash. I wish I could return it. One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

Story w/o a story. Can hardly finish watching it!

I had no idea this was based on Hamlet. Its not 100% Hamlet but I was surprised to see the elements in the film. 4k allows the viewer to live out this story as they watch. The film is a bit slow but its good. Not meant for everyone but foe those who enjoy stories of this nature, you should own

Sometimes an arthouse filmmaker is given a larger budget to make a more traditional Hollywood style film and the result is something really special. Such is the case with The Northman. Great action is elevated by remarkable visuals, exceptional performances, and period accuracy. 4K HDR is the way to experience such a beautiful film.

Great, bombastic film — a real unapologetic 180 degrees from the typical flaccid, virtue-signaling Hollywood crap; a brutal depiction of the pre-1000 AD life, with elements of the Nordic supernatural thrown in for good measure. Not some earlier take on the Hamlet mythos for court eunuchs . . .

First off, it’s great to see Norse mythology and warfare in its rawest form, and the performances, fight scenes, and cinematography are outstanding. Some characters feel like they are sidelined here, and when all is said and done, The Northman is predictable as another Viking revenge tale, despite striking visuals, great performances, and even a couple of twists. It should be experienced in theaters (or if you missed it there, on the biggest screen with the best sound available to you). Unfortunately, reflecting on it, I can’t help but feel that the story left me feeling strangely empty.

A MASTERPIECE OF A FILM and this 4k transfer is amazing a must have for the collection.

Fantastic movie from start to finish. The cinematography is gripping.

The Northman has great acting, action, and suspense!

Too dark and just more of GOT. Too bad the images were not brighter and the dialog a little more meaningful. Sent it on to our son as he is a GOT fan.

Great movie and great packaging. I only wish Best Buy didn't charge express shipping days before it comes out. I ordered yes four days before it's released date and had to pay 1695
