What can you say? It's a good movie for the ladies.

I ORDERED SOME ITEMS AND WENT TO PICK THEM UP AT BEST BUY AND WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT BE PICKED UP THERE. I WAS TOLD TO PICK THEM UP AT SOME AUTO SUPPLY STORE THAT WAS FAR FROM THE BEST BUY STORE. NO THANK YOU. I DO NOT KNOW IF I WILL EVER ORDER FROM BEST BUY AGAIN. Douglas St. Onge

Decent acting, but I can't stand nicholas sparks. My wife loves his stuff but they're chick flicks.

I like this movie , I watched with my boyfriend and the quality is really nice.

THE NOTEBOOK has long been my favorite of Nicholas Sparks' many books, so it is a happy surprise to me that the wonderful story transferred to the big screen with all the sweetness, warmth, and tenderness that made the book a runaway best seller. The best part of this movie was the incredible chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling as the young lovers Allie and Noah. Their story was told by an elderly couple in a nursing home. James Garner and Gena Rowlands were outstanding as the devoted "Duke" and the woman with irreversible dementia. As Duke recounted the story of Allie and Noah from the notebook he carried with him, the lady's memory began to come back and she could remember.

i am a guy who typically like action flicks, movies on my top list are gladiator, braveheart, 300, 28 days later ect. this movie however is also one of my top movies and remains to be the only movie i have held on to and not gotten rid of at some point in time. the story is basically about 2 people who fell in love and something splits them up, a few years later they meet again and then have to figure out what to do. without ruining the story it is a great movie with a very good ending. loved it, recommend it. own it.

The Notebook was the best movie I have ever watched. I dont think i have ever cried in a movie but this one I did. After the movie was done I just kept thinking about how great it was and how I want o watch it again. This movie is about two high school lovebirds that eventually stop seeing each other but down the road they see each other again and fall in love all over again. You will just have to watch it to see how great it actually is.

I liked this movie because it was different from all the love movies I have ever seen; a guy is telling this amazing love story. It's a sentimental movie and you will cry at the end. Who ever thought obsession could be a good thing? In this movie a guy is obsessed with this girl and he eventually gets her. I thought this was a good movie. Not to many movies make me cry only the Titanic and this movie. In this movie you will see how love conquers all obstacles. Bring out the box of tissues because you will cry.

This love story will touch the heart of anyone who has loved another from a distance. There were two main currents or themes which made this movie a classic for years to come. The first theme was the undaunting and unstoppable love the main character felt for his love despite or in spite of the hand fate dealt to him. The second theme was his undying love for his sweetheart even after Alzheimers robbed her of recognition of the great love of her life, and the memories they shared.

I HATED "A Walk to Remember." So when my friends wanted to see "The Notebook," I was like, oh, great, another stupid Nicholas Sparks movie. But it was actually really, really good. Excellent acting: Rachel McAdams (who played Regina in "Mean Girls" the same year) proves her versatility as an actress, but it was Ryan Gosling who really stole the show. An excellent movie, one that both women AND men will enjoy. The ending is very sad, but sweet.

This is the best love story i have ever seen. I can watch it over and over again in the same day and never get tired of it. I am an 18 year old female and i cry every time i watch it. I would definatly recommend this to any gender and any age group and guarentee you will love this movie. After the first time i saw it i went out the next day to buy it!

This movie is an all familiar tale of young romance in the time of world war II. The actors in this film are brilliant and is versatile enough for both men and women to enjoy. A great movie for a first date, or just to cozy up and stay in after a long day!

This is one of the very few (if not only) romantic movies that keeps me coming back to watch it again and again. I'm a 40 year old male and I still cry every time I watch this movie. It makes the ultimate statement about the power of love. I rented it and went out and bought it the next day. It’s that good!!!

"The Notebook" is a very good film with great acting, great script, and great scenery. I'm not a very big fan of romance films, but this is and EXTREMELY good film, and it is one of my favorites. It is very emotional, and very enjoyable film. Plus, with Widescreen, you can mostly focus on the characters and story. Highly recommended to anyone!
