A lot to love here. A gothic masterpiece but in the scope of storyline and pacing this misses the mark dramatically. Did this matter? Not really. Maybe the weakest in the series as far as scares, the Nun plays as a classic catholic horror. It was so much fun. The sets were perfect with mist filled cemeteries, candle lit corridors, creaky taverns, and barely touched countryscapes. Great soundtrack as well. Taissa was the perfect choice for this role and the actor who played Frenchie nailed it. The only thing that ripped me limb from limb was the cemetery scene. I hated the camera work there, but the rest of the film surpassed my expectations. Keep them coming universe.
