This a fun movie that my entire family enjoyed a lot.

This is a good 3d movie to own when it’s on sale..

A surly squirrel named Surly and his best buddy, Buddy the mute rat, plan a heist to steal cashews, peanuts and almonds. Antiheroes are the protagonists du jour, and Surly (voiced by Will Arnett) has many of the familiar flaws. The selfish scurrier has no interest in helping the other creatures in Liberty Park, where he lives, even though he has a mind for schemes and his neighbors are going into starvation mode. After his plan to steal a nut cart goes awry and the park dwellers’ stockpile goes up in flames, Surly is banished and forced to live in the city. It’s a scary proposition, though Buddy tags along. When Surly first moves to the city, we see the world from his vantage point, with each pounding foot looking like an object of destruction. And the moment the park’s food goes up in flames inside an oak tree looks spectacular!

A loner squirrel and his only friend, a mouse, set out to get nuts anyway they can. The community of creatures in the city park are also looking for food to hold them thru the winter, but the leader is a corrupt raccoon, looking out for himself. Everyone has to work together to defeat the raccoon and get the nuts.

This is a very funny movie, different from a lot of animated movies. You cannot anticipated what is coming next. I was interested in that movie by seeing the trailer. I love the fact that we can watch it in 3d. Animated movies in 3D are always interesting for the effect. This is the kind of movie that you can watch more than once and I will watch it again.

I am always looking for inexpensive DVDs for the children to watch while on road trips. Videos keep them entertained on long rides for vacations. They picked this out as soon as they saw it, and wanted to watch it immediately after leaving the store. Plus it only costs $4.00. No complaints here!

This movie is not going to win any Oscars but the Animation is fantastic and if it for kids it's fast paced enough to keep their attention. Though the story of a the good guy idiot and the bad guy with a heart of gold hidden under personal issues is not original it should be enjoyable for any kids or kids at heart to watch.

I had a great experience at the Stockton best buy. The salesman was nice enough to connect the tv we were interested in to a DVD player to test the 3D picture quality. This time taken to accommodate our family was appreciated. I have shopped at best buy for years with great success so far. Thank you

Was a very good movie, I suggest it to others but 1 short that came with it was poor animation (looked incomplete in process) other was "OK", they only showed a few of the actors doing voices, did not show or talk to any others. In short, Great movie, poor special features

A great family movie. Has a lot of government take over issues in it. Kept my family entertainted the whole time. The.kids watch it over and over again. They love they fact that all kinds of animals are working together, which is something us a people tend not to do.

This is a great kids movie! Watched it with our nephew, he loved it. There are some "adult overtures" that only adults will pick up on which added to the comedy factor and helps keep adults as well as kids attentive to the movie. Highly recommended!

When seeing the cover of this movie I thought it was more of an extension of the squirrel character from over the hedge. While it was a good movie I think that people will be disappointed if they are not sure like I was in this case.

As a cartoon fan, I end up watching a lot of really poorly written animated films. This one does not fall into that category. I'm pretty sure your kids will like the fast pace, but there's plenty of humor that adults can enjoy too.

I wasn't expecting that much from this, but it is just a lot of fun! I enjoyed the voice work, it has a pretty good story, and even the animation is a step down from Pixar and Dreamworks, it still works for this movie.

If you have kids or you like animated movies and shows as an adult you probably will like this movie. At the very least your kids will enjoy it.

I didn't see this. It was a gift. They said it was really good. The kids enjoyed it. The gift also had pj's for everyone, popcorn, hot chocolate, a Christmas cd and marshmallows. A Christmas box for family time.

I am usually pretty skeptical when purchasing a movie at such a low price but my son really wanted it and I was actually pleasantly surprised! Very cute movie for the whole family to enjoy.

The story line seems loose. The lines seem to come hard for the voiceovers. Finally, the art/computer renederings dont seem as clean as other movies. My kids love it, but i will not sit through it again...
