The movie had a lot going for it until the final act and that's when it took a nose dive.

If you have absolutely nothing else to do, then I would recommend The Other Side of the Door. One of the producers is Alexandre Aja, who I am a very big fan of but unfortunately this film didn't do anything for me. I gave it a shot but it doesn't warrant another viewing for me.

The story was contrived and derivative as a horror movie. Cinematography was very good, which created a creepy atmosphere. Good blu ray pickup from Best Buy.
