Watched this a while back & loved it. Also enjoyed Band of Brothers. Couldn't say not to black Friday pricing for the entire season.

Amazing picture quality and reference quality sound from this blu ray set! The story is compelling and the characters are well developed. Highly recommended companion series to band of brothers.

An honest, albeit horrifying, exploration of World War II, The Pacific is a visually stunning miniseries not for the faint of heart.

Loved the fact that it followed real people and never took a snarky political view. A time when America was united against a common foe.

Seen it before and had to have it. Be best to wait for it when it's on sale. Must have if you ever served in the Armed Forces. I coukd image what these Brave Men had to endure in this time.

It's a well made well acted series. The story is your typical war fare (get it, warfare? Ok), but it is still exciting and worth watching. Also at $18 it's a terrific bargain.

For fans of "Band of Brothers", which was centered on the war in Europe, "The Pacific" completes the picture by focusing on the pacific theater of operations. Although I didn't feel this series was as involving as "Band of Brothers", it is ,never the less, a must-see companion piece needed to fill in the whole vista of what American G.I.s experienced during WWII.

Must see. This review is for my son. He bought the movie and I remember walking through the living room seeing him watch it. He loved army movies and I know he really liked this one. RIP G

What a great DVD to journey through some of the epic battles and events of WWII. It gives you a better appreciation of what some of the brave people went through so that we may enjoy our freedom.

'The Pacific' comes to Blu-ray with a stellar video presentation, and an audio presentation that is unparalleled. The HD extras were great to have, I loved the Enhanced Viewing option..

If you like war movies and a lot of action, this is one. Also, this movie series is based off of actual events, with interviews at the end of each series with men who fought in the war.

10 part chronicle of how the Greatest Generation fought for our freedom and changed the course of history. All the realism and horror of war brought right into your living room. Exceptional

I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of well done war aficionados. This is a perfect companion piece to band of brothers as this is centered on the pacific during world war 2.

This miniseries is amazing. From its rich historical detail to its stunning visual effects, it takes you personally into one of the most complex and misunderstood aspects of any of the American wars.

I watch these every time they come on hbo. They are an awesome series. I like that they have have the men telling their stories as you watch. A must have if you like war movies.

Loved Band of Brothers. Pacific doesn't quite live up to those high standards but it gets really close. Looks and sounds very good on Blu ray. Super happy with the purchase.

As soon as I saw this on sale for $15 I immediately bought it. If you love war movies, this has to be in your collection. Plus don't forget "Band of Brothers" as well.

This is one of those series that isn't very long but it was well done and it is pretty interesting. Despite the fact I was hesitant to watch it I must say this is a great one.

Its a great set to own or add to a War collection. I ordered it and within a couple days it was delivered to my door. Best Buy had THE LOWEST price for this specific BLURAY DVD Edition.
