Great series. Has good action and plot throughout the series. Fun watch and worth checking out band of brothers as well.

While Band of Brothers was great in all respects the Pacific doesnt reach that level but it is a worthy successor by the team that brought the first. It starts off a bit slower than Band of Brothers but really picks up in the second half. It's a great new look at historical events that should be remembered and those that sacrificed not forgotten.

Everyone should watch this sequel to Band of Brothers to try and appreciate what the "greatest generation" did for us fighting the Japanese island to island in the Pacific. Well done

I bought this Fathers Day week on sale at BestBuy. The price was so low I couldn't resist. One of the best War series for my DVD Collection. A must have for fans of war movies.

The story of the men involved in the Pacific and Band of Brothers is breath taking. The directing is amazing, the video quality is superb, and the extras are well worth the watch.

A well-done series. This mashes together fiction with nonfiction; however, a series like this can inspire viewers to seek more historical information.

Was a huge fan of Band of Brothers and while this series isn't exactly the same, it comes extremely close. If you are a fan of WWII, or movies about them, this is a must purchase!

I personally enjoyed Band of Brothers more than The Pacific but it's still a great docu-drama. Really shows what soldiers went through fighting throughout the Pacific theater.

On the heels of Band of Brothers this entry shows us the Pacific side of World War II. Same vibe as Band of Brothers. If you liked that series you'll enjoy this one as well.

The Pacific is an incredible glimpse into the chaos of the Pacific Theater of WW!II. The cinematography makes the BluRay version well worth the investment.

Much of WW2 history in the US seems to be focused on the Eurooean theater, this is an important reminder of the sacrifices made by troops on the other side of the world.

This is the Pacific war version of Band of Brothers. Couldn't be better, not that I expected anything less. Should be shown in high school history classes.

A very well done sequel to Band of Brothers, this show focuses on the boys in the Pacific. Their stories deserved to be told, and I'm glad that HBO put it to film. Fantastic.
