My favorite movie of all time! If you really want to have a good understanding of what happened to Jesus Christ before and after he was crucified, get this movie. When I think about all of what Christ endured for us, I try my best to never complain about my personal struggles in life. Get this movie! Nuff said!

I saw this film in the theater when it came out and it really is hard to put it into words other than to just watch it. If you want to know what Jesus’ last hours were like and how he was convicted yet committed no crime. What really really looked like, no sugar coating, what He went through, watch. It is graph but, we really need graph to get the full scope of that day.

One to keep in the collection for seasonal viewing

This movie may have been controversial, but that is mainly because of its religious connection, especially its connection to Christianity, and because of it being so violent and vivid; but I feel it was necessary to portray how it really happened and how much Christ loved us that He would go through all that just for us who do not deserve it. It was a very emotional and very touching example of love and how we as human beings should be in this world of ours

WOW! What a great story of our salvation and movie depicting it!! Saw this in the theater when it came out - for a movie; what and experience! Everyone should see this movie if they even have a hint of belief in them to the most religious Christian! Will make you believe even more. Great acting, casting, etc. etc.!! A watch every Easter!

This is a good movie for those who have religion in their lives.

This movie depicts Good Friday only. It shows the betrayal and abuse that Jesus had to endure. Because OUR sins are SO great, he had to suffer beyond our imagination. This movie does a great job of showing that...but truly, Jesus' suffering was so much more than that ....because our sins are incomprehensible! If you want to see a movie that I believe comes close to the actual events of Jesus' crucifixion, then this is the right movie. It will break your heart.

In my opinion this movie depicts the Passion so much more accurately than all the other versions. It’s my choice to view during the Easter season because of the particular focus on the last hours of Jesus’ life. It was also a surprise that a digital copy comes with this disc. The description of the product wasn’t clear about that so it was a good surprise.

the beating scene was epic. some slow spots but good overall.

This story of Jesus is perfectly made and achieved by Mel Gibson and Jim Caviezel. The acting is awesome and from the beginning it keeps you awake because of the love and compassion the movies show every time. Including the moments that are too violent. So much to learn from Jesus. Thats what the world needs....love and compassion. There is too much hate and violence in this world already. We need to be different.
