This movie is cute and definite family friendly. I love how they kept the artwork as close to Mr. Schulz's work as possible while bringing it into the digital age. Normally, I'm a purist when it comes to remakes, sequels, or reboots (especially for classic things I love), but I realize that most of the original voice actors are too old or dead. I AM glad that they decided to use archived sounds for Snoopy and Woodstock. For that, NO ONE can beat the classic. :)

The peanut movie was incredible. I rememeber watching the holiday specials each year with my brothers and and friends. Watching this movie brought good old memories. The ending of the movie was epic. It was a charlie schulz move. Im glad they made this movie in his memorie. Im sure he would of been proud what the new generation has done with his whole life work. I'll totally recommend this movie to everyone to watch. Especially to all the youth out there

I love this movie & its great to see Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, Lucy, Sally, Schroeder and the rest of the crew in this charming movie. The music is amazing. A new girl comes to town & Charlie Brown tries to impress her. It's really fun seeing Charlie Brown trying not to mess up & Snoopy is attempting to help him. I don't wanna give the whole story away but its a really good movie. I would definitely recommend purchasing this film.

If your like me and grew up in late 70' and early 80's, then you grew up with Charlie Brown & Snoopy....You know...Joe Cool!!! I have very fond memories when I was a child watching Charlie Brown around family every year during the holidays and even throughout the year. This is one memory I would like my children to have and experience. In addition the program is just as good as it was then and I highly recommend it!!!

this Arkins me back to the blue 60s when I saw the first peanuts by Charles Schultz come alive on my grandmother's color TV. All the misadventures of poor Charlie Brown the things that Lucy did to him. His love for dog Snoopy or the Ace World War I pilot Joe cool. It really brings back a lot of fun memories and I think you and your family would enjoy watching this with your kids. I hope you will take this review is I minute and buy it if you can't

If you grew up like I did watching every Charlie Brown Holiday Special this movie pays homage to each one. Children will absolutely adore this movie but so will the adults taking them. I enjoyed every minute of the movie and that's why I had to own it. This was a heartwarming trip down memory lane. The creators of this movie did a fantastic job honoring Charles Schultz and preserving what made Charlie Brown so special to all of us... Well Done.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!! If you were fortunate enough to grow up on the Charlie Brown comic strip and the original Charlie Brown movies, then you will love this movie too. So many things haven't changed. The Peanuts Movie is done in the same style as the TV movies and there are sweet references to Charlie Brown's history and the TV movies that came before. Introduce a new generation to Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus. This movie is perfect.

This movie brought back the crew and in every way i remembered. I admit I bought for my kids, however, found the movie to be excellent. It brought me back to all the snoopy specials I remembered as a child. Included the same personalities from the cartoons and the comics. I must say this movie was very well done. My kids really love this movie. My son now has a few cartoon DVDs and the toys. Nice rebirth of Snoopy and the Peanuts crew.

The thing about Peanuts is that it's meant to be a comforting, nurturing type of experience while at the same time providing something of a profound simplicity to the themes it desires to tackle. It's kind of like the Pixar movies, but flat instead of three dimensional. With The Peanuts Movie though, director Steve Martino (the last Ice Age movie) looks to bring Charlie Brown and his gang into the twenty-first century as they are presented in computer animated 3D. Fortunately, this doesn't seem to have changed the sweet and simple mentality the comic strip by Charles Schulz always took on. The characters and their world have been updated in no apparent way-they all still play outside by trying to fly kites or ice skating, there is no modern technology and even many of the same story beats we've seen before in the holiday specials that air every year are present. I largely only have those specials to refer to as I'm of the odd generation that was too young to get hip to the comic strip when it was in its newspaper prime (despite still running in syndication today) and am too old to have any genuine interest in this new movie. Still, it seems a childhood in America wouldn't be complete without having seen It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving or the original A Charlie Brown Christmas at least once. Given this was my only frame of reference walking into the 2015 version though, it seemed like little more than a cash grab given it was being presented in 3D and released just as the Holiday season was upon us. Of course, capitalizing on nostalgia has become big business since the social media age took hold and everything is suddenly worth a second look, but given the age and importance that the Peanuts brand carries with it this somehow felt more risky, more greedy, more capable of destroying real childhoods. Given it's mostly more of the same I doubt this will offend anyone, but in fact it will likely do the exact opposite and resurrect all the feels these characters originally inspired regardless of generation-heck, it may even inspire a few children of our newest ones.

I gave it 4 stars because I'm sure it's a good movie. However, I returned it before watching. As a collector of Blu ray movies I like the condition to be mint or if not really good, especially if you're paying so much for a movie. But Best Buy decides to ruin the condition by placing white stickers on the sleeves. And upon removing the white sticker it causes sticky residue which over all looks horrible! I have made a complaint before but of course it takes more than 1 person to be heard. So sorry this review is not technically for the movie itself but I figure if I rant here my voice may be heard by someone important.

I was really worried about the art style and story before watching this new addition to the peanuts series. I can say my fears were unwarranted. It's a cute feel good story true to the peanuts vibe. the animation actually looks good and has a nice quirky feel to it. Not the same as traditional animation but thankfully it doesnt look creepy. Voice acting is well done too.

Blue Sky brings the Peanuts gang back to life in a film faithful to the spirit of Charles Schultz's creation. Charlie Brown, who just can't win, is determined to talk to that Little Red Headed Girl. And with the help of his dog Snoopy, who's dealing with his own love life, he just might find the courage to do so. This movie is absolutely stunning in hi definition - the DVD can not do it justice. Purchase the blu-ray!

CGI has added a new element to the world of Peanuts. While lacking the hand drawn quirks of the old animation, this new version captivates with the flowing motion of the characters and a very good storyline. That is not to say that the CGI artists changed anything important to those of us who remember the original productions. They kept what made the originals so unique. Invite the Peanuts gang home with you.

I have loved the Snoopy comics and all of the characters, since I was a very small child. When I first heard about this movie, I knew I was going to purchase it. I am so glad I did. The makers kept it a family friendly, quite enjoyable movie. The updated look of the characters are nice to see. I love that I can watch it by myself or with our grandkids and just enjoy watching Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the gang!!

For those of us who grew up with the Peanuts gang, this movie does an excellent job of paying homage to great comic strip, television shows and movies of the past. My children are four and seven and have asked for it multiple times, and it has already become a stable in our household movie collection. Then you have the convenience of the digital copy, which makes it easily portable to take it anywhere with you.

Okay, this review is solely based on my opinion. My son enjoyed Peanuts, but I think was getting bored near the end. I, on the other hand, loved it from beginning to end. It is refreshing that a kids movie can be entertaining based on some young kids using their imagination like the Peanuts gang does. Plus, Charlie Brown speaking to the red haired girl after all these years...kind of gives us hope!

I am so glad they decided to come out with a new Peanuts movie. This has some great humor and definitely great for the whole family including the grandparents! Something that I would not mind to watch often if one of my 3 kids decides to play it on repeat. ( I lived through it with the Bee movie) Worth the money to have in your home collection as opposed to streaming these days!

My wife and I saw this in the theater when it came out; we loved it. Bought it the first day it was out on Blu-ray. My four-year-old and two-year-old loved it so much they watched it twice back-to-back. This is an excellent example of a remake done well; it stays true to the original while updating for the new generation. The animation is beautiful and looks great in 3D. I highly recommend to everyone.

The Peanuts Movie is a good-hearted animated film that cleaves closely to classic Charlie Brown characters and themes. I was worried that this might be some ill conceived attempt to reboot Peanuts or update it with some edge or snark. Thankfully, the Peanuts Movie turned out to be a gorgeous high-definition digital movie with the sincere heart of the original comics and movies. Highly recommended.

My son had patiently been awaiting the arrival of this movie. He loves peanuts and snoopy and this didn't disappoint. The stuffed animal was worth the couple bucks just for his happiness. If you are a fan of the movie and don't care about the stuffed snoopy, save your money and grab the regular. The blu-ray audio and video was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the movie for fans and little ones.
