If you're looking for an updated, more modern feeling Peanuts, you'll be disappointed. This new Peanuts movie is definitely in the spirit of all Peanuts movies and shows. Some might feel that their attitudes and behaviors are somewhat dated, but I think it adds a nostalgic touch of class to an otherwise overcrowded shelf full of kids movies that speak the same "buy me, I'm new and hip" language. Enjoyed it and so did my daughter.

Totally predictable characters and familiar plots which was fine with me. Charlie, in love again; Lucy, with her unwanted advice; and Snoopy still fighting the Red Baron. Nothing had to change. Great for the extras. Learned to draw Snoopy and Charlie in my new iPad pro with the Apple pencil.

Wanted something for the Grandkids when they come over. This fit the bill. Nice to be able to pass on the Peanuts gang that my kids, my wife, and my self grew up on. Enduring characters, and a good story make for a fun family movie night. Get the popcorn ready and enjoy yourself.

I left the theater thinking, "I think I just witnessed the re-birth of 60 year old franchise." The Peanuts Movie took no real chances placing strong emphasis in honoring the spirit of Charles Schulz's beloved strip. We can only wonder what this film would look like if J.J. Abrams had directed it ;) I picked this up on Blu-Ray so I can show it my grandkids - if I ever have any. Nice bonus features, looks AMAZING on Blu-Ray.

Charlie Brown and Snoopy are back, in what I believe is the best movie/story in the franchise. A classic story of the underdog Charlie Brown attempting to redeem himself of embarrassments and find his place in the world. Animation looks tremendous. A fantastic movie for the whole family!

If you are approaching middle age, then you probably grew up on The Peanuts movies, specials, & comic strips. This version does a great job scratching the itch you did not know you had for Charlie Brown and Gang while at the same time being enjoyable for someone too young to know them.

If you are a fan of Charlie Brown and Peanuts gang you will like this movie. It is a remake of past episodes that we loved. Snoopy fights the Red Baron, Charlie Brown falls in love with the little redhead girl, etc. My family enjoyed this movie, a couple of scenes had us really laughing!

I have been looking forward to this. I bought one for my grandsons and they loved it, and have watched it several times. I have been a fan of Charles Schultz and Peanuts for more than 40 years. My mother-in-law even had a Snoopy mailbox made for me, with Snoopy lying on top of his house.

Starring the classic characters, the makers were wise to not relaunch them for a new era, but rather reintroduce them to a new generation of fans as they have been portrayed throughout the life of the comic strips, television specials, and earlier feature films. Kids will certainly love this and it will put a smile on the face of adults who can remember when these characters were their heroes growing up. Highly recommended.

Nothing reinvented or reimagined. The classic Peanuts gang and vibe with a contemporary animation styling that improves rather than distracts. Schulz and all who love his decades of artistry and insight on humanity would be proud. Excellent and a permanent addition to our family library.

Who doesn't love Charlie Brown, Snoppy, Woodstock and the rest of the gang. This actually made my daughter cry because it was so touching and heartwarming. I enjoyed watching it to as it reminded me all the specials that would come on tv and that still do capturing more generations.

They are the best! This movie puts a modern take on the peanuts with awesome new visuals, but keeps the heart and soul of the peanuts alive and well! Fans of the classic cartoon will not be disappointed and can thoroughly enjoy this movie with new generations alike!

The Peanuts I haven't seen or read for many, many years now so this movie took me back to my youth. Great pure comedy from one of the all-time best troupe of characters. You can't go wrong with this if you want to laugh at a clean comedy and want something you can have your kids watch.

This movie is so cute. The animation is quite different than the old cartoons but the storyline feels classic. I'm a little dispointed that the Blu-Ray didn't have a slipcover, but i shouldn't have been expecting that because this was released about 2 years ago.

I was impressed, actually enjoyed this version than any of others I watched as a kid growing up. They did an amazing job with story line, illustrations were top notch for this generation. Great job bringing Charlie brown to the 21st century. We really enjoyed this movie as a family.

Saw this in the theater, 3D version which we could have lived without and saved the money. The plot and animation plus keeping the characters true to their role made this one very enjoyable 90 minutes. Left the theater with a warm fuzzy feeling. Doesn't happen often enough these days.

First, a disclaimer. I'm not one of those obsessed fans of the comic strip or the TV specials, in fact I never had interest in watching those. So I'm just judging this on it's own merit. As a lover of all styles of animation, I enjoyed this one and the story was also noteworthy. So if you're a rabid Peanuts fan, you're probably going to get this regardless. If you're not, check it out - you'll probably enjoy it!

Eagerly awaited this movie when I first saw the teaser trailer years ago. I've been a Peanuts fan as far as I can remember. There was a lot of love and care to pay homage to Charles Schulz work. In addition, the blu-ray comes with plenty of additional features. Worth picking up!

This version of The Peanuts movie was amazing especially in 1080i/4k quality. Its great for the whole family - from young to old, We had a blast watching this. There are so many fun and hilarious moments in the movie, We can still watch it weekly.

Charlie Brown, Snoopy & the entire crew are back in a big way. This is a great introduction to any new young Peanuts fan or a refresher to any old fan. I would recommend this movie to anyone, young or old. The semi two-dimensional almost "stop action" graphics are ground breaking.
