I have all of the cartoon versions and this was most disappointing as it is just pretty much a rehash of the TV versions. I was not happy with the whole thing.

Movie sound and picture out of synch and skipping. would not play consistently. I just need to return it.

A Peanuts fan for a LONG time, LOL. This was a must have for the DVD collection.

Disappointing boring won't recomend it to anyone.I made a mistake buying it.

I was easily one of Snoopy’s biggest fans in the 80’s. I had every Snoopy stuffed animal (Snoopy, Belle, Spike and Woodstock) they made. I also had several of the outfits they sold for Snoopy to wear. Yes, I was a fan, and now I am a 6’4” 230 lb 40 year old man that still has a soft spot for the beagle in my heart! So, when I decided to try out the Peanuts Movie, I was a little leery they might mess up one of my favorite characters of all time. I am happy to say they haven’t! The plotline of the film here is basically following Charlie Brown as he adores a cute little red-head girl. Hijinks and antics ensue as the gang helps or hinders Charlie in that process. That is the plotline that the kids will enjoy. However, that is not what the adults will enjoy. Let’s face it. In order for this movie to be a hit, the movie would have to play well to kids, but more importantly to parents who are coming in hoping for a Charlie Brown Christmas experience. The good news is they get it in spades here. Scene after scene will help parents recall the Peanuts of their youth. There are mentions of Joe cool the red baron, Lucy pulling the football, Linus and his blanket, the great pumpkin etc. etc. This is really a wonderful walk down memory lane for those of us who ever loved the gang! In the end we have been given a gift for the fans of the Peanuts. An actual modern update to an age old cast of characters we love. Now if only we could get the kids to love it as much as the adults

This will be a new fave movie. To watch for the holidays. Recommend for the young to the old.

I purchased this as a gift for my four-year-old (and honestly, for myself as well). If you are a fan of classic Peanuts, you'll find nostalgic nods to old time themes while at the same time not feeling as though you've "seen it all before." If you have never experienced Peanuts, you'll enjoy the entertaining storyline as well as the appropriateness for the young ones. The replay value is extremely high, for both the kids as well as the adults.

Got this for my 5yo son. Of course he (and I) grew up after this cartoon went to its glory days, we both still enjoyed it very much. The animation looks great, it has a kid friendly story, and introduced us to the generations before us.

This movie arived at my door in a timely manner, and is in good condition. The movie itself looks great in 3d (others may disagree) on my 65 3d OLED tv. I docked it a star because best buy shipped it with no slipcover. It didn't say anywhere online that it didn't come with one. Best buy needs to be more upfront about this (as in put it in the listing for it online). I would have bought it at the store, but nobody anywhere near me in Wisconsin carries it in the store.. That is not right of you best buy.....

The updated animation is not so updated that we lose the familiar characters. It does draw a lot on the situations I grew up on watching the numerous TV specials over the years, but it puts them in just enough of a new narrative that you just can't help but smile. Charlie Brown and his friends are timeless characters that will always be enjoyable.

A new twist and addition the Peanuts universe. You see several nods to the old peanut stories while telling a large story at the same time. You see Charlie Brown find his first love and snoopy dog fight the red barron once again. Animation is great and it does pay homage to Charles Shultz who gave us the loving characters.

I have to say that they nailed this Peanuts Movie, in terms of Graphics, voice acting, and story, also they kept the Movie as close as possible to the original Schulz Animation despite the new Silicone Graphics. Nice job I gave this Movie 5 stars.

I bought this for my nephew because he kept seeing the commercial so i purchased it for him and he was so happy and in love with it. Just seeing how much he enjoys it says it all. I would totally suggest for you to buy this for your child.

The Peanuts Movie is a great movie. Way better then Inside Out (Inside Out sucks. Joy almost got that girl killed) Snoopy is the man(well in this case dog) This movie will touch your heart. Everyone with a DVD or Blu Ray should pick it up.

I have watched every Peanuts movie since I was a kid. Every year when they come on tv I have to watch them even though I own them on DVD. I saw this movie in the theater and had to buy the DVD. I watched it as soon as I got home.

I grew up a Peanuts fan as a child, so when I heard there would be a theatrical release of these beloved characters, I was a bit skeptical. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this film. The storyline is a bit of a throwback to the comics obviously, but that's okay. It's a delight for all ages and well worth buying.

This film really had a genius touch behind the entire project. It just captured the imaginative spirit of my nieces and warmed the hearts of my siblings, whom are older and grew up with the original shorts and comic strips.

If you are an adult, this will bring you back to your childhood days, where life was simple, and being a kid was WAY too fun! Our kids enjoyed this movie, and still stayed relevant and fresh for the new gen kids!
