Great little movie for the kids ! Would Recommend!!!

Great 3D with depth and out of the screen effects.

I love these guys. The movie may not be as harsh as some of the original humor but I still enjoyed it as did my kids.

Got to have my Peanuts. Love this movie very much.

I bought this for my little one not knowing if she would enjoy it (she's autistic and movies can be hit or miss). To my surprise, she loved it! Aside from the just-right pop of color the film provided, the characters portrayed emotions so well that I was able to point them out and talk with her about them. Snoopy really made an impression on her. She finally understood sad and happy! The music and dancing where spaced apart just right that they kept her entertained and focused on the movie since movies with too much talking tend to bore her. I also really liked the movie, which is a good thing considering that we've watched it a thousand times! :)

In this age of constantly remaking everyone's childhood memories into something "new", it's refreshing to see that this movie stays largely faithful to the Peanuts classics we remember. Charlie Brown still has trouble getting ahead. Snoopy still has wild adventures (and we can't tell what he's thinking). The gang still has their character traits from the comics. There's no back story provided to introduce the characters. We just have Charlie Brown being himself and that's a good thing. We can laugh at the silly situations, empathize with Charlie Brown's failures and successes, and ultimately cheer for him at the end of the movie. For Peanuts fans, this was a great movie and was well worth seeing. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who grew up reading or watching Charlie Brown and friends.

*Contains spoilers* Great to see an update to this classic group of characters. It looks great and I think hits all the marks that it needed to without getting goofy or too controversial (no more Iron Cross symbol on the Red Baron's plane for better or worse). I don't think it laid any new ground story-wise as this is mostly about the new girl in school, Snoopy's flying adventures, and a mix-up between Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty, but the upgrade to the animation was the point this time around. So no big Great Pumpkin moments or Charlie Brown with his little Christmas tree that stand out. Hope to see more to the Peanuts story now that it has some solid ground to take off from in this new generation. Just expect to see the gang doing what their known for with some good CG animation.

Great animation and take on classic characters. If you like Charlie Brown and Snoopy...it's worth the watch.

Great classic from the past. Had the same funny dry humor that the original show's had! Worth the price!

You can't go wrong with a old peanuts movie. These are classic and haven't went out of style yet.

The movie itself is cute and entertaining, and the 3D makes it all the better with the right setup.

this was the introduction movie to my kids about charlie brown and the peanuts. they loved it.

Given all of the other "bring it to movies" cartoons and comic books, I was wondering when Charlie Brown would finally make it to a larger budget feature film. Although I gave it 5 stars, this was a combination of the content and format. If it were content or blu-ray quality alone, it would have been 4 to 4.5, but the overall package is very good. The audio and video are excellent, even for blu-ray standards and the extras are entertaining and worth taking the time for some. This movie is well worth adding to the library and will likely get pulled out for the grand kids.

A new Peanuts movie has been a long time coming. I have young children who I hoped to introduce to the Peanuts gang. To my delight, they loved it! And so did I. They did a great job bringing Peanuts to a new audience but staying true to its origins for all of us who remember growing up with them. The combo pack is full of extras from special features to viewing formats. The bluray is perfect for the family to share together over popcorn. The dvd provides a valuable backup in case the kids get hold of the bluray (VHS tapes had this one advantage of the discs, more kid friendly). And the digital version is great for on the go. We use it on the iPad so mom & dad can enjoy dinner when eating out with the kids.

I am a huge fan of the classic Peanuts characters, and they did the franchise justice with this film. I was worried at first that they would try to 'modernize' this franchise, and I was very relieved to see they kept it about 90% or better intact to it's origins. And what little they did change, like Peppermint Patty in the same school as Charie Brown, was done respectably and tastefully. There is nothing not to love about this film, unless you are one of the critics about too much of the Red Baron sequences. This is the high quality I grew up with from Schultz, and was pleased they didn't destroy his vision. Great for all around families. Now, re-release the 80's Charlie Brown and Snoopy show guys........

Cute movie. Paid $5 for it. Follows the junior novel so my son could read it for school
