    The 3D was just OK and the plot could have been a lot better. but it's a movie made for kids so I guess that's to be expected.

    Not really sure where this thing lies. Not really a kids movie, not a good movie for adults- not sure what they were going for here. There is a simple moral to the story and some funny moments, but the story is fairly bland and a little nonsensical in parts.

    Too many animated films are dumbed down and recycle tired plots and don't try to do anything different. Pirates is not like that at all. It has great animation and wonderful voice acting, but that alone doesn't make a great movie. The plot/story is engaging and, like the Incredibles, it works on many levels. Young kids to adults can enjoy this film.

    Pirates: Band of Misfits was a surprisingly hilarious movie that I took my kids to. I actually think adults will enjoy most of the jokes that fly over the heads of kids.

    This was fun to watch, had a lot of funny parts and the 3D made it worth buying. Some of the humor was subtle and I laughed at several things the second time I watched it that went unnoticed the first time around.

    Wallace and Gromitt were great growing up and claymation is so great to watch. The countless movements to create a the animation is amazing. Well worth a watch.
