Although this movie didn't get the best reviews. I had faith in Shane Black directing and writing. I haven't seen a bad movie made by him. I did wait for the Blu-Ray price to drop down to $9.99 before I added this to my collection...

I had higher hopes for the movie. The acting was decently good, but there were some glaring plot holes and the last 30 minutes were very choppily edited. I was hoping more for an Aliens vs Predator 2 feel with Predators wrecking havoc all over a present day human town. We didn't really get that. Overall though, I still thought it was entertaining.

It is a pretty decent movie to the Predator series. The movie was exciting and entertaining.

Critics panned this movie and for what it provided I was satisfied Gonna watch it again! Recommended!

Been watching the predator and alien movies since I was a kid... still think it was a good movie!!

It is always good to see another version of a hunter and his buddies getting defeated by the prey.

Classic predator horror scenes with all the blood and gore that is reminiscent of the first 1987 movie.

I added this movie to my collection. The 4K quality is very nice and has some good action and laughs.

I guess the main question is why. Why did they make this sequel? Why was the story so bad? Why were the characters so bad? Why did they take a classic movie and dump on it? More importantly, why did I watch it? Everyone believes they need to put a new spin on things as though movies need an upgrade. Shame on you Shane Black. Yeah, you added more flash, more bang, more action, more everything but it lacked other more important things: quality, character, uniqueness. They tried to incorporate too many characters, too many fields of expertise, and too many variations of the original. It just ended up being a dismemberment fest of red and green blood with tons of one-liners, quips, and inept government henchmen. It was terrible. In an attempt to be bigger, badder, better it came off as a cheap cash grab trying to profit off of the sacred name of a legend. I watched. I didn't pay but I watched. I knew better but I thought just maybe... A guy can wish can't he?

Not my favorite but a good follow up to the other predator movies. Definitely worth watching!

I don't know why critics were booing this movie. This is a fantastic expansion on the franchise. If you compare it to the original you failed to get the point. It's time to give us a new fresh Predator experience and this is it.

so, i watched this weeks ago and thought it was so-so. then it comes out on blu ray and i think, nah i won't get it. I start thinking about the film and how much i love the original and i like the second one i even have a place for the third and if pushed i will admit i have watched AVP over 5 times. so it got under my skin. im willing to give it another go.

It was a good reboot of the series, lots of action but staying with the story line of predator

I've always liked the Predator series. This one is no different. Good storyline and plenty of action.

I had read some poor reviews of this movie and went in prepared to not like it. With low expectations, I found that I actually enjoyed it. The bad guy seems a bit two dimensional so they tried to make him witty which doesn't work very well. My advice is don't analyze the characters, their motivations, or their backgrounds much. Just enjoy the spectacle.

I know the critics rated this one of the 10 worst movies of 2018 but I disagree. I have always loved the Predator story since Arnold starred in the first one. Granted, this is not a serious movie but it is definitely a fun one!

The predator series always comes to impress. This new film has awesome effects and the new creatures such as the predator dog, wow talk about one heck of a mutation. Non stop action from start to finish and great story line.

It's not the best Predator movie, but it's actually better than what most people give it credit for.
