entertaining but not the best of the bunch still beats the alien vs. predator ones

I wish people would stop trying to reinvent franchises in order to give them new life. This is a fun thrill ride of a movie, but it retcons some of the prior lore and adds unnecessary elements to the universe. They're doing this to try and build up to something, but I just wish they would stop trying to alter the existing lore.

It was an okay movie. I'm glad I purchased it on Blu-ray over watching it in theater.
