I haven't watched THE PRINCESS BRIDE in years. It's just one of those films you want to see uninterrupted by commercials or sloppy network editing. This cut reignites the magic of Rob Reiner's adult fantasy just as I remember it. Face it...most films aren't "keepers" and are a waste of money on disc. Not the case here.

For wonderful family entertainment, this film is going to be hard to beat! It's just a pleasure to watch and enjoy from start to end. I/we highly recommend it for everyone whom enjoys wholesome films devoid of the usual nonsense hollyweird is producing these days. Recommended highly for the whole family.

Seeing PB in HD for the first time is refreshing. Criterion did an amazing job with the quality of the transfer and loading the disc with special features. The book design was inspired. Careful pulling the glue off the back, it will remove the yellow ink from the image.

Some movies are required watching on only Blu Ray or above, this is such a movie. Colors pop and sound is well placed. This is a classic among movie critics. It competes against other swashbuckling movies but is also unique for the way the story was written and shot.

This is not a movie for everyone, but those who don't like it are best avoided. A movie with so many great lines, we quote them around the house. Great cast doing fantastic work. It is a very enjoyable movie that has something for any age. Watch it and relax. Have fun storming the castle!

I would highly recommend this movie to anyone! It is a great story and is for all ages. It has been a family favorite of ours for many years (we usually watch it a couple times a year). It has a little bit of everything in it- fighting, comedy, romance, etc. If you like movies you can't go wrong watching this one.

Got it for my daughter, since it is one of her favorites. "12/10," she says, "such great characters, fantastic story line, and magnificent fight scenes." It truly is the movie for everyone- it has romance, comedy, action, and even suspense, not even I could fall asleep during this movie.

The Princess Bride is a movie everyone should have in their video library. Keeps you laughing from beginning to end. My family can quote at least 20 lines from the movie at anytime. The cast is a collection of some of the best actors of our generation - Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, & Billy Crystal to name a few.

I loved the interviews. I know how the movie has impacted myself and those around me, it was fascinating to see how the people involved with the film were impacted. I could spend an evening watching all of the extras again without even watching the movie. This is a must buy.

Bought her nothing but things she loved for a valentines basket I made up. This was front and center in the basket. Was one of the most inexpensive things I bought her but the most loved. It’s the simple things that make you happy.

A Period tale complete with an evil lord and a princess who yearns for her one true love. She thinks it is hopeless she will ever see her darling Wesley again. Wesley is determined to find his way back to his lady love and on his journey he meets many interesting and zany characters who join him in his quest.

This movie has always been a favorite. It is fun, adventurous and humorous for the whole family. I did not think I would like it as much as I did. Old school special effects kind of hokey but I suppose that gives it some charm in comparison to the cg driven blockbusters of the I want it now era.

One of the greatest movies of all time!!! This movie is a wonderful movie that is told in a frame story, or a story within a story. There is no movie that is more quotable or endearing that I have seen in my short lifespan. A movie to cherish for all of the ages. If you haven't seen this, you must see this.

This modest movie that was a favorite of mine since it first came out in the theatres. With a cast of characters that is just took the amazing script and just made it a masterpiece! I watch this movie at least ten times a year!! Now on BLU RAY format, it will be around forever to thrill future audiences !!

I bought this movie as an impulse buy and am so glad I did! I had not seen this movie in years and I enjoyed it as much now as I did then. It is a great family movie. The graphics are dated, of course, but the storyline is engaging and humorous. Pop some popcorn and settle in for a classic movie!

I have loved this movie since I was a kid! I finally own it on DVD now (my VHS tape got lost many moves ago). I had recorded it on our DVR and my kids LOVED it! But then we had to switch DVR boxes and lost the recording. Now we can all enjoy the love story of the ages together, as we wish!

This movie truly has something for everyone! Our kids love it and so do we. We also love the digital copy - which you can redeem either on Google Play or Vudu - so we can watch the movie anywhere. And as an added bonus, we got it for a great price on Black Friday. Win-win all around!

This is a good movie to watch every now and then. No-matter how many times you watch it, you still get a good laugh out of it and it is still entertaining. Classic lines such as... My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die... make it worth viewing over an over.

This movie is a timeless classic, and one of my all time favorites. I have memorized every line and even started quoting the film with my children. PB has been restored and looks better than ever, but the real reason to buy this edition is the extras included on the disc.

There are a few great movies that I will probably re-buy many times. This is one. This is the best example of this movie that I'm aware of, and it's not expensive, so unless you are already content with another version of this film, you should buy this. WHAT?! You've never seen this movie... time to fix that.
