I now own three different copies of PRINCESS BRIDE. It is the same absolutely wonderful movie in the different formats. My children grew up loving this movie, and now continue to watch it in their own homes and to quote lines from it regularly! Even though it is a fairly old movie, it is still GREAT!

For a simple tale through middle evil times, this story is nothing more than pure comedy. Several one liners and comical situations make this film a enjoyment for all audiences. I still watch it to this day and love every moment of it. Recommend for sure.

Who cannot love a love a movie about pirates, swordfights, treacherous journeys through frightening woods, and true love, all told by a grandfather to his sick grandson. I didn't think this movie could get any better, but it is amazing in Blu-ray. (I also own on DVD and VHS!) Buy it now!

This movie is a classic and the bluray transfer is done exceptionally well. Worth the price of admission, this film will entertain your family today just as much as it entertained you when it was released. The price point is exceptional as well. Well worth the purchase

The best part of this edition is the abundance of William Goldman content. Lots of interviews and a commentary track. The fact that Goldman was able to be a part of making the movie just earns more respect for Rob Reiner.

The Princess Bride is a classic that should please every type of person. It has action, romance, comedy, and drama. All in equal measure and each somehow blending seamlessly with the other. This version also brings several bonus features that add even more value.

What can be said about this movie that hasn't already been said over the years. Just an all around great movie that has it all. Great directing and acting. Has the humor, suspense, swashbuckling action, romance, and on and on. Just a wonderful film for all ages to enjoy. Timeless classic.

The Princess Bride is one of the best family movie that I have seen. It is funny and yet romantic. Catchy dialog, fantasy, action and heart warming. A movie that can be watched again and again with the family. Owning it on Blu-Ray is the best choice if you are a fan of the movie.

This is one of my favorite movies. Unfortunately, some of my coworkers had not seen it. So I bought a few copies to share with them. Now we all share lines from the film and everyone GETS it!!

I had never seen The Princess Bride before (honestly.) I caught it in the theatre a few weeks ago for the 30th Anniversary rerelease and immediately went to Best Buy and bought the Blu-Ray DVD for my collection. Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock.

Well the movie is one of my favorites from when i was young and the blu-ray version has the added bonus of HD. However, if you got the DVD a few years ago, that had far more special features than the anniversary blu-ray does, which for me is a bit sad. However, it's still a good buy

This movie is a classic. I bought it for a friend of mine for a surprise birthday gift and she loved it. Would recommend to anyone who likes to laugh. It was made back when Cary Elwes was still attractive and somewhat funny, so that's refreshing. haha

Where does one begin? With sadness there is humor and with every darkness there is light. This transcendent, charmingly nostalgic allegory of love, adventure and revenge is a definite must have for any movie aficionado. Westley and Buttercup forever!

If you haven't seen or heard of this movie, I'm assuming you were just rescued from a cult or released from your parents Y2K doomsday bunker. If that is tbe case, this movie is hilarious and you will not be disappointed...you need to watch it now. Trust me.

From Miracle Max and Fezzik to Inigo Montoya's legendary "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die" speech, this movie has something for everyone. If it isn't one of your all-time favorites, there is something seriously wrong with you!

I love the Princess bride movie. I saw it when it first came out in the theaters. I've seen it several times since. Some of the greatest quotes in all of movies. A great family flick, one that everyone is short and enjoy from the youngest to the oldest.

What can I say, this is one of the greatest movies of all time. Swordfights, adventure, Andre the Giant... what more could you want? Cleve, fun story and great source of one-liners.

I'd heard good things about this movie but had never seen it. I had a $5 gift card and wanted to find something to buy, saw this Blu-ray on sale and ended up paying about a buck for it. Watched with two friends and we all really liked it. I'll probably watch it again.

Funny and a good time. Goes to show that a movie with heart can go a long way. Dont need a serious, dramatic story or CGI special effects, or million dollar actors. Likeable characters and humor can go a long way. A movie to be enjoyed over and over again.
