This is one of those movies that started its life in mediocrity, but has become a must have part of anyone's collection. It is a children's movie with adult appeal.

I read the book 30 years ago back in High School and loved the movie version just as much. Buttercup is much cuter in the movie than how the book portrayed her also. :)

It was a great time revisiting this classic movie! Very happy I picked it up and had the rush of memories rush over me again. Andre the Giant is wonderful!

The Princess Bride is such a great movie. Seeing it in blu-ray made it even better. With the low price, it was easy to select it and add it to my Favorites DVD Collection.

So glad to have this in Blu-ray. This movie is great for ALL ages. Watched it with my kids when they were little and it's one of their favorites also! Still love it today.

Growing up on this movie, it still keeps its grip on todays generation. Even my young children love this movie. You certainly can't go wrong with a fantastic story that is well acted.

This is a movie we watched on VHS all the time when the kids were little. Now are grown and receiving this on DVD at Christmas the same excitement achieved again.

This is the best release of The Princess Bride. It's cheap, full of features, and in great quality. A must buy for anyone who wants to own this great film.

I don't like the cutbacks to Fred Savage in bed with his grandpa reading the story. Beginning and ending would have been enough. Cut that part out, and to me it's the perfect movie.

I got this as a gift for my fiancé who is a huge Princess Bride fan. It was the perfect gift for her as she wanted an updated copy of the movie.

Was dreading going to see this movie, back in the day, but my wife wanted to see it. It's just not what you think it's going to be. Funny. Quotable. And just plain fun to watch.

not a whole lot to comment on. everyone should take the opportunity to sample "older generation" movies. This one should be thought of as one you should give a try!!

This movie is a classic, if not only for the one-liners that are riddled through the story. The plot is inconceivable, but maybe that word does not mean what I think it means. Enjoy.
