This Movie is always a pleasure. Not only has this been one of my favorite movies this was also one of the first movies that my wife and both listed as a favorite. We have enjoyed this so much that we even had several of the lines from the movie worked into our wedding ceremony. We have watched it our nieces and nephews and they have enjoyed it as well it good clean family enjoyment.

What can I say about this movie? There is no cussing, it’s wholesome, sweet and exciting! It has a love story and a great fantasy adventure to boot! The acting is great, it’s funny and sad too. It has it all. You are doing yourself a disservice by passing this classic up IMO. Just go watch it by yourself or with the family!

This is one of the truly classic films. It's a fantasy world filled with fully realized characters and a sly, sarcastic wit at times. I have watched this movie so many times I have lost count. Younger audiences may become bored with the fact that there are no explosions, CGI, or sky beams to fight at the end of the film.

This movie is so much fun!! I had to buy a new disc because the old was starting to skip. Glad I was able to get the digital copy as well. My parents and my kids LOVE this movie, I am sure my eventual grandkids will as well!!! Highly recommend this purchase. Price is right and its both Blu-Ray and digital. INCONCEIVABLE!!!!

I've been waiting to add the blu-ray edition of this movie to my collection for a long time. I finally found it on an excellent sale and snatched it up. The video and audio encoding are excellent, and above average for the format. The movie itself is a classic tale and has several "quotable" phrases that you need to see the movie to fully appreciate. I would highly recommend adding it to your movie library.

Daughter had never seen this movie so I went looking for the blu ray. Was disappointed with the overall movie selection at best buy these days but did find the DVD in the bargain bin (although I found the blu ray for the same price at Wally world). The associate I asked for help didn't seem to want to help either but oh well. I did get the movie I intended to purchase so I was a successful mission. Have fun storming the castle!

Director Rob Reiner's send-up of adventure fairy tales. It's INCONCEIVABLE that anyone would dislike this movie! A great cast, including the lovely Robin Wright in her premiere role, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, Billy Crystal, Carol Kane and even Andre the Giant. You can't go wrong. Enjoy!

The movie PRINCESS BRIDE was so fun and loved by my family that I now own three copies. It seemed only right to get it in blue-ray when it became available. The movie is cool in blue-ray format and continues to be watched by all of 16 adults and 37 grandchildren (the 38th is still too young to watch TV) in the family. Yes, everyone can quote much of it by heart and it still continues to be a winner in my home!

It's just INCONCEIVABLE that the movie is 30 years old. It has a nice balance between seriousness and playful fantasy. Like a good fairy tale, it ends happily and the villains get their comeuppance. If you haven't seen this yet, NOW is the time to put it in your collection. Mine arrived in perfect condition and plays fine. Some nice extras on the DVD too.

This is one of my all time favorite movies, ever! This movie was produced why back when stories in movies actually mattered, stunts were performed by real people learning real skills instead of CGI, and He-Man toys in the background still meant something. This film even has one of the all time best fencing scenes ever captured on film. Pick this movie up and have fun storming the castle!

There's not much to say (you all know how the story goes haha ;-p) besides this movie looks great on Blu-Ray & I'm glad I got it from best buy when I did because I got a awesome deal on it as well! Definitely a good classic film to add to your Blu-Ray collection or DVD collection if you prefer that (this film is good in any format to be honest, but looks best in HD of course haha).

One of the all-time great and enjoyable family movies. Excellent for kids and entertaining for adults. I quote the characters all the time, and they are unique and memorable. This movie should be in the hall of fame of classics for it's simplicity, enjoyability and all around pleasantness in watching. Highly recommended. "Inconceivable" that you wouldn't enjoy it!!!

Great movie addition to any dvd shelf that is just as good more than 20 years after its release, the movie is present among popular culture and the blu ray contains two commentary tracks and many featurettes. Staring Cary Elwes (Psych's art theif Pierre Despereaux), Mandy Patinkin (Dead like Me, Chicago Hope and Criminal Minds) and Andre the Giant. Passing this up is Inconceivable.

This is a great new edition of a classic movie with excellent features and nice new cover art. This brilliantly written, directed and performed timeless tale works on so many levels that it brings new meaning to the saying "fun for all ages". Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys classic Hollywood entertainment with an intelligent indie heart. Even more enjoyable with repeated viewings.

Incredible movie on the best format available for an incredibly low price. What is there to complain about? The movie worked fine. Maybe just the fact that there are no extras that come with it, but that's why it is so cheap. Great movie that should be watched by all.

A great and unique story which uses many cliches. It's simply fun, lighthearted, and ultimately a feel good story no one could dislike. Memorable performances from Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Wallace Shawn, Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, etc... help make this a must own for any any fan of fantasy whimsical films. The inclusion of a UV copy is icing n the preverbal cake.

I have loved this movie since it first was in theaters. I bought this as a gift for a coworker who had never seen it and had no idea what the rest of us were talking about when we referenced the movie. Now he is one of us. He has watched it several times with his kids.

Seriously, who wouldn't pick this up for pure nostalgia at $2?!?!?!?! Brings back great memories and who could forget the classic scenes and quotes. My personal favorites are, "As you wish.", "You mock my pain!" and of course the favored, "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die." LOL Absolutely wonderful.

Somehow, I did not have this movie. Picked it up from Best Buy for cheap just in time for Valentine’s Day. Perfect gift. Unfortunately. The 30th anniversary cardboard insert on the front is glued to the plastic on the case. You have to pull so hard to remove it that it leaves permanent stretch marks in the plastic. This is done in such a way I have to assume all 30th anniversary editions of this film will have this problem, Disc and movie are great though,

Hubby and I watch everything with closed captioning. To our dismay we had a copy of The Princess Bride that was only cc in French and Spanish! Inconceivable! We were so happy to find a cc version of The Princess Bride with English closed captioning. We were finally able to understand the mumbling giant Fezzig!
