excellent 1080p transfer until the final credits that is. the final credits are in 480i which is lame, but whatever the rest of the film is a total upgrade in every way. i had the letterbox dvd which was horrid. this blu does this film justice, but they have the criterion now so i may actually get that one as well.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time and I always watch it on Cable TV when I stumble upon it while channel surfing. I decided to bite the bullet and own a copy of the movie and I am so glad I did. The Blu-ray version is gorgeous and the movie is still enjoyable, even after several viewings. I highly recommend this movie!

This is a great movie, I had to buy it because my kid had never seen it. He laughed so hard and suddenly he "got" a lot of jokes I was always cracking from the movie. It helps in parenting when your kids actually laugh with you vs. at you. Buy this movie and sit and watch it once a year or so with your kids and friends.

I had a mystery coupon to use and I chose to get a couple of the good ole' classic movies. I spent a great deal of time digging through the bin to see if I could find a great movie and this is one of them. It has great actors and is truly a great movie and classic and wonderful for anyone to at least see once in their lifetime!

I spend a good couple of hours going through all the extra features, including several interviews and sit downs, including one for the 25th anniversary. The sweet sentiment of the movie carries over to a lot of the features and make them well worth watching. The movie itself, of course, is a classic and looks beautiful on Bluray. I'm glad it's in my collection.

A true classic that should be in everyone's movie archive. It has comedy, adventure, true love, a giant, intrigue, intellect and swordsmanship. It may have been filmed many years ago, but it is a classic that holds up even to today's standards. The release onto blu ray is amazing. Perfect picture and sound.

...for my niece's birthday. I've loved this film from day 1 of it being in movie theaters. I had to pass on a fantastic film to the younger generation and she loved it. Fast and easy to order and curbside pick up was the same. Fast and friendly employees.

If you've seen The Princess Bride, you already know it's a classic that has stood the test of time. if you haven't seen it, it's easily worth the price to find out why this movie is so beloved. I found the audio/video quality of this blu-ray version to be good. There are also plenty of extra features if you are into those types of things.

The Princess Bride is a wonderful classic film. This transfer and collection of great bonus features that Criterion has produced is the finest quality image and video of this movie I have ever seen. Of course, I highly recommend adding this to your Blu-ray collection. As you wish...

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about the Princess bride. It is an excellent movie. You can watch this movie every year and still not get bored of it! I actually remember when it first came out! You should buy this movie for everyone that you know, if they don't already have it .. Great gift!

What more can be said about this all-time classic movie! Good for multiple viewings, many quotable lines, and Andre the Giant is in it! The 30th Anniversary Edition has enough extras to make the purchase of this ACTUAL physical disc worthwhile over merely streaming it somewhere.

I love this movie! I never would have watched it except my niece wanted to see it. When it first started I thought I wouldn't like it but as the story unfolded it became more and more interesting and I ended up really enjoying it.

This is the funniest movie that you would never expect. Do not let the title fool you. With a cast of Billy Crystal, Andre the Giant, Robin Wright, Mandy Patamkin, and Cary Elwes how could you not laugh. I actually bought this for a friend as I own this and the director's cut. Of course I would recommend this movie

I'm sure that when I was young I did watch this movie. However, as an adult, I don't remember too much about it. So one day, I saw that "The Princess Bride" was on sale at Best Buy for a really good price, so I decided to pick it up. After watching it, I have to say that it lives up to all of the hype. A highly recommended movie.

This movie is a favorite in my family. We love Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, Billy Crystal, and Carey Ewles's performances. This is one of those movies with a million one liners. I gave this to my sister for Christmas 2017, and i'm sure that her 8 year old has swiped it at least once.

This movie has André the Giant in it, you have to see if just for that fact. This movie is hilarious, and you need to watch it, I'm sure some of the jokes people look at you odd when you don't get probably came from this movie. If you watch it you will understand a lot of those jokes

The Princess Bride is the best fairy tale ever created! Many of the comments made by the characters in the movie have entered into everyday usuage. (As you wish!) As of 2014 it is 27 years old and still popular. I just purchased the "Special 25th Anniversary Blu-ray Edition." It includes new interviews with several of the cast.

In my view, just as funny as the Mel Brooks / Gene Wilder / Monty Python / Airplane Series comedies from decades ago. Smart humor with classic lines that just won't leave your head.

If you don't like this movie don't take life so seriously. This is a classic. To actually review the blu-ray... I'm not an image specialist and this isn't a movie that needs crazy clarity for special effects. It looks fine and has decent features. I got it for under $10, no complaints.

I seen this movie at the theater I believe it's back in 87-88, beautiful classic love story. Plus Andre the Giant is in this movie, it a good story Adventure movie, I loved it, this truly is one of the best classic movie ever made.
