The movie reminds me of Shrek. (Shrek was made later, I think, so Princess Bride is actually the innovator.) Princess Bride is essentially a spoof of save-the-princess movies. Now if the movie had songs too, the spoof of such old movies would be complete. This movie has become a kind of "icon" to those who grew up with it.

I must have bought twenty copies of this movie. I keep loaning them out and not getting them back. Classic amazing movie!

There are several fun bloopers in this movie, including a scene with one of the main characters as just a cardboard cutout. See if you can find him.

A really good classic movie. The 30th anniversary cover is just a paper cover attached to the regular blueray disc.

This fairy tale has wonderful non-mother goose twists and turns. A delightful story told to a young child by Peter Faulk.

I have always loved The Princess Bride but had never made the purchase. Got one with the digital copy included.

I owned the DVD and when I seen it on blu ray I had to get it for 7.99 dollars! It's family film sonits a win win for me!

Everybody is over-the-top here, but since everyone is it all evens out at a very high level. Recommended for all ages.
