Who doesn't love The Princess Bride? Great watch! Must see for any movie lovers.

I love princess bride! So many quotes you can do with this film. Family classic!

A classic film for the young and young at heart. And yes, it’s a kissing movie.

The greatest ROM COM ever made. I don't think there's any denying the opening remarks of Peter Falk when he says this story has, "Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles..." The perfect date movie. But you know, it's more than that. It's really about true love in general. And while we may not all experience it in our love life, surely, there's true love from someone for everyone. The story is really about the true love of the grandfather for the grandson. If I was an actor who needed to produce some tears on cue, I'd think of the love the grandfather showed for the grandson as he reads the story while he's lying sick in bed. Or the true love my mother expressed for me and I for my son. After all, true love is the greatest thing in the world! (Except for a nice MLT: Mutton, Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich where the mutton is nice and lean and the lettuce is crisp) - You'll get that part after you watch this masterpiece.

It’s dated and silly but so endearing. You will find yourself quoting it, too.

I enjoyed this movie when I was younger. So, I wanted a copy of the movie.

Generally, no one who buys a movie need a review of that movie - he or she is buying it being already aware of the movie and like it. Common sense, then, instructs this review be limited to the quality of the disc transfer. AUDIO: The number one concern re audio is center channel clarity. Are the voices easily discernible and separate? Are the tonal qualities lifelike. On both - yes. 5 x 5 for audio quality. VIDEO: Does the video quality match the 'promised' blu-ray standard? Yes. Black is black. Contrast is high. Detail is finely presented. 5 x 5 for video quality. Highly recommend this blu-ray transfer.

Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I never saw this on the "Big" Screen. Its to bad too. As my screen feels like an IMAX I was able to see this film for all its glory! It was SO fun and so much better. I believe it would do well with an anniversary release at the theaters! Picture quality was fantastic for the films age. It didn't get as much love as say "The sound of music" but still, I LOVED IT! Thank you!
