Thomas Jane is the man. This is not some PC modern version!

This is another Blu-ray to come out without much to offer besides the movie. If you were a fan of the movie and can't wait for there to be a re-release than this is the one for you. This movie adaptation is much better than the Dolph Lundgren version in the 80's. It is based off the 'welcome back frank' series of comics and tries hard to be nitty and gritty like the comic. The hero is seen sulking and drinking thoughout the movie and appears to have little self-respect or ambition for anything other than vengeance.

Unlike other Marvel movies like Fantastic 4, Spider-man, ect, The Punisher is a real-life movie. The Plot of this movie is such a good plot, it is impossible not to like! The actor makes the movie a believable movie, and is a great actor! It is a movie however for ages 13+, so I would not let young kids watch it. The Punisher does not only have a good plot and actor, but is also action paked! This is a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You will like this movie! T.T.M.

While I think that this movie was excellent, I do not feel that it captured the essence of the Punisher's inner turmoil as well as Dolph Lundgren's 1989 version of the film. That film will never be taking seriously since it starred Dolph Lundgren. However, the Punisher was lonelier, more depressing, and the film dove deeper into his psyche in that film which fits my vision of the Punisher.

I have to be honest, I wasn't one those guys that read this comic, but once I saw this movie I wished I did. This movie is on point with the action, acting, storyline, just everything. Even if you forget that this is from a comic book, you would still love this movie and I hope they are still making the second one

This was one of the coolest marvel movies ever made. It had so much action in it and was exactly like the comics with everything about the same. Even if you never read the comics it's still a great movie that anyone will enjoy. I strongly recommend that anybody buy this movie.

The acting in this movie can at times be unrealistic, but overall with classic actors like John Travolta, the movie has a great plot. The movie may seem slow at periods, but it draws out every emotion one can feel; empathy, love, anger, pity, and vengeance. I would recommend this movie to a crowd of teenagers or older.

This film had it all drama and a whole lot of action, this film was real grahic more then what i thought.But very well done i think that this is how a hardcore hero should be like on film, so go ahead and grab this film and enjoy

This movie I say really brings back the comics of punisher to life one of my favorite marvel dudes of all time this movie is really good recommened for a person who like action only adults thoe to bloody and alot of cussing

If there ever was a great revenge/comic-based movie to come to the theaters, it's been The Punisher. Thomas Jane fits the character of "The Punisher" perfectly. I would DEFINITELY recommend this movie with NO hesitation.

this movie is about as action packed as you can get, and they even put in a pretty good storyline! travolta was awesome as the bad guy! i've watched this movie dozens of times and still love it!

this movie never made it that big in the box office, but it is one of the top three or four comic book movies ever. if you are a fan of the punisher, or sweet movies in general, buy this.

I love this movie and have it on DVD and Blu ray. There is a difference and Blu ray does look much more crisp. The movie is very good- buy it for yourself

Wish this move got more attention than it did back around the time it was released. Not a bad movie at all and holds up as the best punisher movie ever made.

The Punisher is something I can watch time and time again. You pretty much will be left with fulfillment each time.

You don't get the Marvel Cinematic Universe without this film first. Paved the way for bigger, better, and darker superhero films

I like this movie and think you will enjoy it. It has John Travolta in it and who doesn't like him. This isn't a family movie and is really geared for adults.
