Almost as good as the original, the director shows great originality in both films and the cinematography and action sequences are extremely well thought out. Just another example that international films are above par when compared with American films.

I only got a few minutes in before I had to leave the room. To me it had no real plot it was just blood and gore. If you are really into beat me up movies you would enjoy this. But if you want a movie with a little more story to it keep looking down the aisle

I enjoyed The Raid quite a bit and was interested to see what the second would offer. It is an okay movie but the delivery of lines is pretty flat at least in the dubbed version and the story is pretty throwaway with some parts that just don't make much sense to me. They had some potentially interesting characters that were working for the villain but it felt like they never really had a chance to shine or be developed. My favorite fight scene was between the main character and probably the best fighter on bad guys side, but aside from that very chaotic and graphic fighting and overall very sad atmosphere. Maybe just not my cup of tea.

If you remember the first raid, then you knew it was a non-stop rollercoaster of action. Part two is more if a movie with story and less action but shot very well. It's slower than part 1 but has better character and story development

Great action but the story line was long and boring. I found myself falling asleep twice during the movie. Too much unnecesary talking and explaining! But the fight scenes were really good whenever the came around

I thought it was alright, a lot of action and the fight scenes were pretty good. It is a long movie and it seemed to drag on during parts of the movie. i didn't like this one as much as The Raid Redemption.

This was still very action packed, but it was just missing something. Sometimes you feel like you saw all of it with the original. I consider this one only a buy for those who loved the original.

If you liked the first "The Raid" movie, and liked it, you'll like this one. Good action and the story continues from the first one. The story is dependent on the first movie to really make sense.

As is somewhat usual for this type of movie (heavy on action, light on plot), you pretty much get what you pay for. Not for everyone, but a nice addition to my collection.
