great acting and amazing scenery. Must see for all

I think I hyped myself up to much for this film...

A great movie one of Leonardo DiCaprio's best ones

i see now why people refer to this as the movie with the bear or whatever. the bear attack scene was a very pivotal point for this movie. Kudos on the actors as well i didn't even recognize the bad guy of the movie as the guy from mad max

Not fact based. There was a mountain man named Hugh Glass. It was a young jim Bridger ( Famous mountain man) that stayed behind to bury Hugh. And Hugh did survive . But much of the story was very different than what I've read over the years.

After I purchased the Blu-ray disc, but before opening it, I saw the movie for the first time on a Movie Channel. I can see why it got such good reviews, but decided it was not a movie I would likely watch again. Too violent for my taste.

Wanted to see this for quite awhile. The visuals and lighting were all beautiful and so was the acting of course. Just not enough dialogue and seemed like they drew it out longer than it should have been. Still glad that I did see it though.

I bought this because of the Leonardo DiCaprio Academy Award win. I would say yes, outstanding acting, but I wasn't sold on the story. Outstanding photography and locations. The film looked real good. The story, not so much. My opinion.

I know the love the story of glass I thought this movie was drawn out and quit it been done in probably half the time even though the fax and graphics were good For somebody who did not know anything about him I guess it was a good movie

While this movie may have been a little long and slow for my taste, no deniying that leo performance deserved to win him that Oscar and also tom hardy deserved the best supporting actor award as well. Beautiful visually, must see

All I'm going to say is Leo earned his oscar for this visceral tale of revenge. The scenery of the movie is majestic. The brutality of this movie is hard to watch at times but seeing this through to the end is worth it.

Based on the high praises given while watching the Academy Awards, I bought the movie and I certainly was entertained. It is not a genre I normally enjoy - that's says alot for the visuals, action, story and the acting.

I really had a hard time getting through this movie. I had a very hard time understanding the dialog due to the accents and verbiage. The violence and suffering was constant throughout the movie. Very brutal to watch.

Not a big fan of Dicaprio fan but this movie was pretty good,not much back ground to get you interested at the start but starts with plenty of action.ends the same way your left wondering when it will end

The movie had some great visuals, but overall it was a little boring. I'm glad I didn't waste the money to go see it. Wish I hadn't wasted the money buying the blue ray version. The ending let me down.

Left more of a comment than a review previously. Movie was lost for almost a month but I received it today! Don't know if Bestbuy re-issued it or the original was found. Very pleased to get it!!

I appreciate and acknowledge that this was probably a very difficult movie to make and that a lot of people put their heart and soul into it. That said, I just wasn't captivated by the story.

What kind of nature centric 4K Blu-ray movie doesn’t have Atmos? The movie itself was good. Would have made a better experience if it made better use of the my sound system

I thought the movie was good, not great, but simply good. The movie is really really long and slow... I personally think the movie was overrated, that is not to say it was a bad movie.

It's a good movie and beautiful landscape. Great movie to watch but not to own. I don't see us watching it more than once. Should have rented this instead of purchase.
