Another HDR 4K movie that is visually stunning with a c grade story and plot. A movie to look at and enjoy for the visuals only.

I thought the movie was extremely slow and super sad. Leo does an amazing job for sure, but the overall movie was slow and not so great

I heard so many great things about this movie. I was expecting much more. It was average, at best. A little slow and boring at times.

Alejandro Inarritu always attacks each of his films in a new and refreshing way, and this is no different. Oh, and Leo won the Oscar.

Very slow movie where the scenes seem to be 5 seconds too long. Acting is great and the movie looks great but just a slow movie.

Very good movie, the cinematography work was awsome. Can't say enough about the bear scene. It's worth watching.

Despite all the hype, I found this movie to be drawn out and a little out of the realm of realism. Cinematography was great.

The whole movie seems to be survival at it's basest level. The movie makes you lose faith in the basic morality of people.

The visuals on this movie are fantastic. Didn't care for the movie too much. It's about 2 hours of Leo grunting in pain.

I bought this because of the rave reviews about the 4k HDR quality. While the video quality is very good, the constant panning with what seems to be an ultra-wide angle lens throughout the movie annoys me to no end. The image goes from slightly stretched to normal every time it goes from the side of the screen to the center - an artifact of using wide angle lenses. And the story is super boring.

Great introduction. And the movie is just a tale of cat and mouse with little to no action. Great backdrops and scenery.

Movie did not seem realistic at all...his encounters with others and wildlife in his condition was not authentic.

This movie is based on a true story, so you cannot change it that much. I wasn't that impressed with the movie itself.

This movie is a mess when it comes to acting and the screenplay. It's technical elements, mainly the cinematography, save it from being a total loss. Too long and far too up its own rear end. Dicaprio is rarely exceptional and this is one of the many cases where he isn't. The good roles here go to people on screen for less than 15 minutes. This was not something I left wanting to see again.

I liked it ,would watch again , unexpected turnabout and events . Keeps you at the edge of your seat . Recommended.

The story line was good, but if you can handle watching a movie where there isn't a lot of talking you will be fine.

First, I am not a huge fan of Leonardo. Maybe if someone else played his caracter, it would of been more enjoyable.

The action scene was the only part of this movie that was worth watching. Very Predictable. I'm disappointed..
