This film is as beautiful to watch as it is relentless in its execution. A pure and simple story of revenge with larger tones of racism, betrayal, family, and willpower, this film may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for those willing to take the journey with DiCaprio's lead, it is well worth it.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy are two of Hollywood’s best actors. The Revenent illustrates what life in the frontier days must’ve been like. The characters portrayed by these two actors will leave you speechless. Glad I bought this movie. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. It is a true-ish retelling of a legendary explorer Hugh Glass. This is the ultimate story of survival and there is good reason why it got so much Oscar love. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie, preferably on a cold night with some beef jerky.

The stunning epic visuals of this Oscar winning film are brought to crystal clear life by Blu Ray that film fans have to definitely get to actually see what I am talking about. Awesome performances by Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hardy of course elevates the film even further. A must buy for any film fan.

Bought the garmin for traveling and it was wonderful. Took it with me for the rental car because I don't like to use my phone. I like to be able to see where I am going and a phone is too small even at 6 inches. Besides, what do you do if a call comes in? This unit is the perfect traveling compaion!!

Over all i love the cinematography. The scenery is top notch directed by a photographer pizza it is interesting to see how people used to live back in the day when there were no big major cities and all that really was was just forrests and no roads Living during this era was true survival

I saw this in the theater and it was amazing. It was the very first 4K Blu Ray disc I bought and it did not disappoint. Played on my LG UP970 Blu Ray player into my 65” LG B7, it turned me into a mouth-breather. I stared, gape-jawed, awed at how beautiful - stunning - the picture was.

I'm not the biggest DiCaprio fan but would have to say this was one of his better performances... although I actually enjoyed Tom Hardy's wretched role a bit better... really wasn't surprising that they were both up for Oscars for their respective roles. Movies like this can be a little bit hard to watch when there isn't as much talking in them as what we are usually use too but the scenery helps make this worth watching when we don't have dialogue. Definitely worth a watch!

Dicaprio and Hardy put on fabulous performances in this pioneer thriller revenge story. If you like either or both of them, you'll like The Revenant. It's a long movie, but its slow and steady pace with periodic action scenes work perfectly to move it along so you don't feel like it's taking forever.

Excellent movie about the will to survive. Great acting by Leonardo Dicaprio. Supposedly, he was sick during the filming, and the director also insisted on filming on locations so what you see in the movie is real, not some blue-screen special effects. Dicaprio finally earned his well deserved Oscar.

One of the best 4K movies out there in terms of picture quality. Supports DTS but not Dolby 5.1, and since my LG CX doesn’t support dts passthrough, I only received a stereo pcm signal.

Got this movie as part of the bundle with the One S and the 4K version stands out! I put the Blu-ray version in the One and flipped back and forth and my whole family could instantly tell the difference! Not to mention the fact that it's Leo's first (OFFICAL) Oscar win! Great movie all around!

I went into this movie with rather low expectations since I usually don't care for Oscar-pleasing films. But I was blown away, DiCaprio absolutely deserved that Oscar for this film. It's gritty, powerful, beautifully shot, and thought provoking. Definitely worth your time.

Seeing this on the big screen, it was obviously worthy of an Academy Award for DeCaprio's performance. Reading about the production of the movie in a magazine underscored the great lengths that the director, actors, and crew went to provide a realistic and gripping drama. Another "must-have" DVD.

The film is a rough and dark world but is easy to get engulfed in. The performances Leonardo and Tom give are superb. Tom Hardy plays a very hate able character but in the best way. Their are scenes that are just so strong and rough that you can not keep your eyes off of. Tragic and amazing

Don't get sucked into the speed of the story. Instead, soak in its beauty right from the beginning scene as they move through the creek. The cinematography alone makes this movie worth watching over and over again. However the acting and story can still hold their own in making this movie great.

I Love this movie, The Revenant! Its a long movie but its just really good! How he survived thru all those obstacles is amazing.. 4K and HDR looks amazing in this movie! Feels like you are actually there thru the whole movie! I recommend this movie if you want to see what 4K is all about..

Leonardo DiCaprio did a fantastic job in this movie! The action scenes in this movie were phenomenal. Based on a true story, Indians were out to defend their land against the settlers. But the settlers encountered not only the Indians, but another problem. Watch and find out what this problem is!

Great movie. It's hard not to shiver in your seat watching all that these actors went through filming this movie. Hard to believe no one died from freezing to death or lost any fingers or toes from frostbite. You can see why Leonardo won Best Actor. An outstanding movie all the way around.

Leonardo DiCaprio delivers a barnstorming performance as the embattled Hugh Glass, whose quest for survival takes him on a Herzogian odyssey to the very borders of life and death. I was so impressed with the sound, quality of the cinematography, story telling and acting that we watched it twice.
