What a visually stunning film. Leo give a performance that almost kills him. Not his best work better than Wolf of Wall Street in my opinion but I'm a huge fan of the director and I saw it when it primered so this was a must have!

What DeCaprio had to endure in his portrayal was horrific, but the caliber of actor he is makes his portrayal rather extraordinary. His performance was stunning. As for the director, equally extraordinary. Movies like this don't come along every year. Hats off!!!

The final master is true 4K on this movie and it only makes this masterpiece better. Oscar winner Leo gave an amazing performance. The HDR makes this a must own for anyone with a 4K setup.

Based on a true story of survival...A must see if you like films that pull you into what is taking place on the screen. Seeing it in 4K is make some scenes life like so I would not recommend watching with your children..aka the bear scene.

Excellent depiction of the struggles in the elements. I had to look away a couple of times and was freezing the whole time I watched this movie! I cannot imagine going through what this man did. Of course the book was better but the movie was impactful.

Best movie I've seen this year. Oh my God, talk about suspense and such a great story line it's no wonder Leo DeCaprio won Best Actor. Not a movie for small kids but if you like action and a good movie to purchase, you will want to add this to your collection...

I had a chance to read " The Revanent " before seeing the movie and have to say, that the movie only went so far as compared to the book but, did great a great job up to that point. I know it is next to impossible to translate a book to film but, give the movie high marks for the sense of realism portrayed through the use of exceptional cinematography. Almost wish it were made into part 1 and a sequel to follow.

This film is mesmerizing. It includes an incredible score that helps to create the ambience. Great performances from both Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. If you are already a fan of Hardy his performance here will not disappoint. Just buy it!

This movie reminded me of a similar movie many years ago which starred "Richard Harris", I believe it was called "Man in the Wilderness". The story, acting, special effects,scenery, and cinematography are all top notch and keep you very engrossed in the film.

I had read the "The Song of Hugh Glass," a true story, years ago; it, i believe, was essentially the story line for the film. I found the film exceptional and DiCaprio's performance worthy of the Academy Award he won for his performance----truly awsome!!!!!!

I am not a Leonardo DiCaprio fan! He is a good actor but this movie is one of the best of all times! Not just his best but a true masterpiece! Every thing about this movie was well done! I just enjoyed watching the movie on so many levels.

The Revenant was easily one of the best movies of 2015. This was a Day 1 purchase for me. The director, Alejandro Inarritu is known for his wide shots and long takes and the slipcover opens up (via velcro) to feature a wide photo of a great scene in the movie.

This should've won best picture of the year. This was definitely DiCaprio's best movie so far, makes sense why he won the oscar for his performance. The bear scene is crazy, that s!@t looked so real. Highly recommended. Buy the blu ray, its certainly worth it.

I recently made the switch to a 4k television with HDR and a 4k blu-ray player. I must say! The cinematography and scenes in this movie are excellent in this resolution! Seeing is believing. And, of course the price was cheaper than any other stores.

Amazing movie amazing picture amazing sound I would highly recommend this to anyone with a home theater. If you don’t have surroundsound I think you’re missing out on a lot this offers.

All of the reasons why this film did so well in the Oscars are on display - exceptional acting, a well-told story, phenomenal cinematography, and probably as accurate "to the times" as possible with respect to the culture of that place and time. Riveting!

THIS MOVIE WAS SO AMAZING TO THE DETAIL AND IMAGINATION OF THE DIRECTOR, ACTORS AND WRITERS THAT YOU ACTUALLY THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY HAPPENING IN FRONT OF YOU. THE TIME IT TOOK TO MAKE THIS MOVIE SHOWS THE DEDICATION OF ALL INVOLVED. IT IS A MASTERPIECE.

Very realistic! Leo does an amazing job of acting once again. Fantastic scenery and real life animal scenes. Great acting from the entire cast! Saw this in the theater and had to get it as soon as it became available to buy. Academy award winner for sure!

This is a great movie even though the story is pretty brutal and dark. The bear attack scene is pretty terrifying and wouldn't be suitable for anyone sensitive to that sort of visual. Leonardo De Caprio did an amazing job of acting in this film.

This movie will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The acting is superb and the cinematography is awesome. You get a real sense of what it was like in the early years of the U.S. A must see for any movie fan and for the casual viewer.
