Compelling visuals, amazing camera work! Brutal and violent at times, but the story is good, and at times puts you dead center of the experience.

This movie is one of the best that DiCaprio has ever starred in. His role shows the difficulty of living in the time period that the movie took place in. This movie is so good, I've watched it three times this year.

This was an excellent movie and kept me and my teenage son interested. Leo did a great job. The story does have some inaccuracies from the historical record, but this film does an excellent job capturing the time and adventures of the Mountain Men.

I bought the cd for several reasons... 1. Was 4K and wanted to see the difference. 2. Was packaged in the steelvook container, which I like, and 3. Reviews were bery good. None of the three disappointed. Great movie, good story, food action.

Well deserving of all it's rewards, Decaprio and Hardy are absolutely awesome. Bit difficult to decipher the dialogue in certain places but you have to see this movie. Makes it even more awesome when you realize this actually happened to someone.

This film reminds of A Man Called Horse. Except the scene with the bear attack was frighten. I feel that each time after the attack, when Glass had a vision of wife or his son, he died and came back to life again.

This is a great movie but watching it in 4K ultra high definition makes it that much better. My TV and Xbox One S tend to make special effects look not so real because of the clarity. This movie doesn't suffer from that in my opinion.

Leonardo DiCaprio is excellent in this early America thriller. The action is very believable and you can almost feel the tension between the characters throughout the film. I understand the ending, but it's a little confusing at the same time as it leaves you hanging a little trying to guess what happens next. Maybe there's a sequel coming or your left to decide how you want it to end in your mind.

Fantastic quality 4K. I bought an Xbox One S for the main purpose of the 4K player & this was the first movie i bought & watched in 4k. Excellent! Nothing beats have the physical disk of a 4K movie, no comparing it to streaming them online.

This is a great interpretation of the story of Hugh Glass and his journey of survival. The movie transports you into his world and makes you feel like you are actually there. The cinematography is beautiful, and you often get lost in the scenery.

Title says it all. This film is gripping an intense, perhaps a bit long and drawn out. The 1080p Blu-ray is darn good but this may be a movie to be watched on 4k UHD if possible.

Glad to have waited for it to come out in 4K and on sale too, couldn't pass that up. Interesting plot to this movie and like the way it was filmed.

Another awesome Leo movie! A lot of action, great story! I don't know what else to say that others haven't already said here on these reviews. Def spend a little extra and ibuy the bluray or 4k if there's a good deal on them!

Excellent movie. Best Buy's steelbook versions of movies are the best. Deserving of an Oscar. The scenery (camera shots), the soundtrack (don't know if that is right) but the music in the background for certain scenes. wow.

The Revenant is well done, and we enjoyed watching it. I'm not sure it's a movie that we'll rewatch. It has some similarities to Jeremiah Johnson, and while The Revenant might be more realistic in depicting some of the danger and grittiness of the mountain man life than Jeremiah Johnson, it is much more about the drive of revenge than about the basic humanity that shines through Jeremiah Johnson.

It does an excellent job of portraying life in the wilderness in the 1800's of men who trapped furs for a living and lived a very raw life just to survive. This movie is two and a half hours and is a true experience.

Leo's performance in this movie is fantastic! Definitely deserving on his first Oscar! The directing is fantasying. The Cinematography is jaw dropping great! It's a little slow in the middle, but Leo's performance makes up for it. A must see!!!

Leonardo Di Caprio has finally won his Oscar, he was put through absolute heck(they would not let me use the h e double hockey sticks word)to get it but the finished product was an AMAZING film full of turmoil, action, heart, guts and more guts

I first bought The Revnant on Apple TV and it looked ok, but when I got my new 4K TV and $K receiver, I had to pick this up on 4K to test out the new system. I couldn't rave more about the quality of this movie, or the 4K version of it.

Yes, I am sure most know the story line but it really is a very intense survival story and ultimately a man out for revenge knows he will get it. Definitely super on a big 75 inch tv like mine and the Blu Ray video/sound production is awesome.
