this is a great movie. but it is kinda slow and most of the time Leo is attempting to talk or struggling to stay alive by himself. it was a great watch but im not sure how many times i would go back to this one.

Incredible acting and cinematography. Great directing. There is nothing bad to say about this film, but it is a gut-wrenching story that is quite difficult to watch at times. Still, it is well worth stomaching.

At first I was not sure if I would be into this movie but boy was I wrong. I know that I loved this movie because when it was over two days later I put it back in the dvd player and watched it all over again!!!

I've been waiting for this movie to come out in a blu-ray disc with the digital copy. Story line is great, and special effects are even better! If you like wilderness movies, you will totally enjoy this one!

The movie setting is virtually without direct sunlight but in 4K with an HDR TV it is very lifelike. The acting is first class and a great but simple story of survival and reckoning

It was certainly the prettiest movie of the year, and Leo is great, as usual! (Finally got that Oscar!) Just a note: be sure to watch in a dark room, as many of the scenes can be difficult to see otherwise.

The Revenant is an excellent if brutal movie. Not much is left to the imagination when indians attack. Our main character has a real drive to live, which he proves again and again.

So I went into Best Buy and saw this movie on blu ray for 4.99 and I was like no way can't be. But it was and it's a really great story, great film and Leo doesn't disappoint in this one.

The entire film is shot with only existing natural light. The opening long shot is a masterpiece worth watching over and over for cinema students and well worth the purchase price.

This movie is a journey. From the opening scene to the end credits you will be completely engaged. It is visually stunning, superbly acted and masterfully directed. I can't recommend this movie enough.

This was a terrific movie! I'm sorry that I never got the chance to see it in theaters when it first came out. The story line was very good, the photography was beautiful, and the special effects were amazing.

Don't go in expecting a traditional film with a strong narrative ala American cinema. It's more of an enveloping experience into a different world where the main protagonist some would say is the laughably untamable and brutal force of nature. I'm more into stories and plots myself but I can appreciate the craft and artistry of a film like this.

Not so much of a revenge movie, feels a lot like a man vs nature movie. But Leo killed it..or survived it? The scenes are jaw dropping, they used natural lighting while filming and everything looks great.

There are no words to describe this beautifully shot, cinematic piece of art Alejandro G. Iñårritu has directed. Props to the actors and the entire film crew!

I regard this film as one of the best in the last few years and thought it was a good runner up for best picture. Hardy was well acted as the scoundrel and Decaprio did great even with few lines. Recommend it.

The Revenant is an amazing movie about a man over coming the obsticles in his way, a man against nature. If you love excellent acting, great storytelling, and beautiful cinematography you'll love the revenant.

The Revenant 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray can be considered a reference quality disc. Outstanding picture and sound to go along with a stunning film. If you're going to invest in UHD, this one is a must-have.

The Revenant was one of my favorite movies of 2015, if you haven't seen it you need to do so now. It looks stunning on blu ray and the sound quality is great. My only problem with this release is that it's very light on extras, and I was hoping for more considering the uniqueness of the making of this film (it was shot in all-natural lighting).

This has to be the best cinematic experience I have had at my home theater. The 4K quality is simply incredible. If you buy a 4K movie, this needs to be in your library. Good movie, great visual experience!

Be very well warned the movie has intense violence, i mean the opening is hard core gory. But it is a very good movie always keeps you entertained and attentive. Plus i love every movie with LEO Decaprio
