While it was a bit on the slow side at times, the movie was exceptionally filmed and acted. Very intense at times and just unbelievable the magic of film

Great story based on mountain men of the 19th century. Leo did a great jobandwon for Best Actor. It should have won more! Great scenery and plot development.

This is a good movie. I really enjoyed it's gritty reality. The setting was also very good. I willing to bet the actors were really cold shooting the movie!!

It's the film that finally got Leo the Oscar, it's a slow burn that ramps up to a great ending. The director is also the previous years best director winner.

Cinematography in this picture was amazing. It was truly like watching art. The story is so engaging and DiCaprio is a beast with the biggest acting chops of his generation. Truly a movie worth watching for numerous reasons. You wont be disappointed. Very adult in nature.

A very good movie. Kept you interested the whole time. My wife said it was kind of like Deliverance, but on steroids. Well deserving of the awards received.
