It is no wonder why Leo Decaprio won the oscar for this movie. Excellent acting and storyline. For all adults who like drama movies.

Movie is spectacular with a lot of thrills and chills. If you are a big Leo D. C. fan this movie is for you. He is such a dream boat.

This is a very good frontier type western. It has a violent bear encounter. It's a very gritty movie. I liked it.It has an Academy Award performance by Leonardo DiCaprio. It also stars Tom Hardy, a very versatile actor whom I love to watch.

Although this movie is based on facts, they have been altered. Setting that aside, it is a grueling, captivating and well made movie. The cast is wonderful, directing is great, cinematography is terrific. A little too long, but a good watch.

Amazing film. One of the best revenge pieces out there. Highly recommended and can be watched multiple times without growing bored.

In the last decade or so DiCaprio has hit home run after home run. The guy has not picked a bad script. The whole cast did a great job.

The special effects in this movie are so unbelievable. And the actual hardships endured by the crew to insure the realism is remarkable.

Leonardo DiCaprio gives a great overall performance in this movie. The cinematography is spectacular and the story is interesting all the way through, but the first person vantage point in some scenes can be distracting or disorienting at times.

I thought the acting was excellent but the period-correct dialect a bit hard to understand at times. Great photography and very interesting that the story line followed a true story. I believe the movie would have benefited from 20 minutes cut.

To me this was an outstanding blockbuster that has to be included in anyone's video collection. Leonardo outdid himself in this movie.
