Well if you didn't think things could get any worse, well guess again. I for one thing I would've froze or died a long time ago for what he has to through and deal with. Simply brutal

this is a good story, but not particularly well presented in my view even tho it was supposed to be academy award material. DeCaprio was good. A Man Callled Horse is a better movie.

I would recommend renting over owning this movie. Great movie especially in 4K details are awesome. I just only watched it once and could of saved money by renting

This movie was very long but well made. The acting was good but the story line was very heavy. This is not a movie to leisurely watch if you are looking for an uplifting moving.

The effects were mostly believable but some of the plot did not develop with the twist that it could have (although I did not read the book). So perhaps it was true to the book.

The cinematography in this film is exceptional. Picture is reference level. Audio is reference level. Unfortunately the story is totally unbelievable. Ergo, the three stars.

The movie was not very satisfying. There were many seemingly insurmountable scenarios stitched together to make a movie filled with endless impossible odds.

The film is pretty long, and though the story is good, I feel like it could have been condensed. It gets pretty slow in the middle and is hard to stay interested.

This movie shows why Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor. It may be too intense for younger audiences though. Tom Hardy shows that he can hold his own with the best.

but not actually accurate. story happened in summer not winter, didn't have a son, and didnt kill the folks who abandoned the protagonist.

This movie was so so. It was very slow in the first two thirds of the movie. It got very interesting in the end. If there is nothing else on it is worth a watch.

a ok movie. the bear scene was the best. the rest kind of predictable. I don't see what all of the Oscar hype was about. I've seen Leo in better performances

Besides the bear attack the movie dragged on and on. The scenes were beautiful in HD...very detailed. it just took a long time to get to predictable end.

Loved the scenery and the action bits. I’m still cold from watching all the struggles in the ice and snow. I was hoping for LOTS revenge?

Decent movie, great time piece... movie starts slow but ends strongly & its long, be prepared to have some time before you begin watching this movie

Not a big DiCaprio fan so that may sway my judgement just slightly...did like the story line. Some awesome cinematography. Worth a one time watch.

Excellent cinematography, especially considering did not use artificial lighting. Exciting first 30 minutes or so; after that little long winded.

Overall, this was a good movie. Although this was a good movie to watch, it is not one that I could see my self watching numerous times.

bought this movie because it was a black Friday special. watched it before but didn't pay attention. will do this time

Great cinematography. Gets a little old watching main character crawling around. Worth a look but not the 5 stars I see it getting
