Didn't get to see this movie in the theaters. So I took the plunge to see what the hype was about and bought this movie. Was a good move in the end as I really liked it. Very intense scenes throughout the movie. Would highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already.

I had not seen it in the theaters yet was waiting to purchase it on DVD and watch it in the comfort of my own home. It was well worth the wait to purchase it at Best Buy and I would recommend it to anyone. It is no wonder Oscars were won for this production.

The Revenent has an awesome story, based on the true events surrounding Hugh Glass's survival. It's brutal and breathtaking, and DiCaprio's best performance, in my opinion. Definitely worth watching and buying if you like tales of survival and revenge.

What a great movie! Action, suspense all of that and more. Based on a true story. I don't want to ruin this too much! It is well worth your time. Yes there are some slow parts of the movie but it all leads up to the anti-climatic ending.

This is definitely a must-see movie. It is probably the most beautifully shot film I have ever scene. The cinematography is top-notch, as is the acting. The story is nothing special, but it is done well. Overall, it is an amazing film!

Leo is brilliant. More than ever before. Absolutely deserved to win his first Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in this one. Long movie but you don't really notice it because you're captivated and engrossed from start to finish.

This is an incredible movie. It's all about survival and revenge all out in the frontier wilderness. I'm not gonna give away much here, just go see it. It's one of my favorite movies. Leonardo and Tom Hardy are great once again.

I got this movie because it's a 4K Bluray, picture quality is good but the widescreen seems slightly thinner than other movies, not a real fan of that personally. The HDR in this movie is more noticeable though, the shadows and contrast look very realistic. Also this is an excellent movie if you haven't seen it, Glad Leo finally got recognized for his talent, he deserves it

Bear scene was great but otherwise I don't know what all the hype was about his movie. Dicaprio was good,but I don't think oscar worthy. I believe his win was a make up for all the other great movies he's done(titanic,catch me if you can,departed,aviator,wolf of Wall Street,inception,blood diamond,gatsby,gangs of New York, Romeo and Juliet,etc.)

This movie is so great from start to finish! It might not be for everyone, but I thought the performances were fantastic and Blu-ray is the only way this movie should be watched. Highly recommended!

Exellent Graphics and Story Line!! Well crafted movie with tons of snow, feels good to watch it with Hot Cup of Cocoa!

This was one of my favorite recent movies and it looks amazing on Blu-ray. It says it supports Atmos audio as well, but I haven't tried it yet. This one is definitely a great one for the collection.

The reviews did not do this movie any justice. From the storyline to the acting to the cinematography this movie is just amazing! If you have a 4K tv prepare to be blown away. Dicaprio at his best!

This is as close as you get to the perfect, immersive time period action drama that thoroughly showcases great acting, directing and cinematography.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The Blu-ray included some very good behind the scenes and "making of" features. But don't watch them until you've seen the movie first or it will spoil some scenes.

Beautiful film. Leo's greatest acting achievement. Should have won Best Picture. Will go down as a masterpiece. One of my favorite films ever.

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I waited for this film to be released for a long time. It's finally out to own and I can't say enough about how this movie should be owned.

This is a true 4k movie, not an upscaled version of a movie done in another format. As a result, the detail and overall picture quality it outstanding. And the story is great, to boot!

If you haven't seen this movie, do yourself a favor and buy it, rent it, do whatever you need to do to get this on your tv. Fantastic story, great acting, incredible camera work.

What can be said about the best work Leonardo DiCaprio has done thus far. The story was gripping and the acting was superb. DiCaprio rightfully earned his Oscar win with this film.
