This is a good movie but was hard for me to watch with all the blood and guts...

Best movie I've seen all year definitely worth buying to add to your collection.

The movie was great! Watching it in 4K was even better. The picture is amazing!

With all the hype about this movie I finally bought it and then watched it last night. What a huge let down! The technical aspects were fine but the story was pure science fiction. I can understand the skills necessary to survive in the wilderness but this movie went way too far. How many times does he get (Di Caprio) soaking wet in freezing temperatures, doesn't die from hypoyhermia and still finds usable black powder some place in his pockets and starts a fire in the middle of a icy river bank! And what happened to his broken and distorted foot clearly visible when he's left for dead in the shallow grave? It miraculously healed because, as the movie goes on, Di Caprio walks better and better to the point of looking well healed and normal by the end and his final fight. The scene of him removing the guts of a dead horse to get shelter was more fake phony than a 3 dollar bill. He would have frozen to death, how his cloths dried up by morning time was a pure miracle and the removed guts were nothing like they would be in real life, please, give me a break! I am sorry I spent the money to buy it, not worth it. This is a movie that I watch one time and then I put away in the box of one timers, never to be a classic, certainly not "The Godfather". Maybe I am not deep enough to see the art in this movie but I like to be entertained and this fell way short. 2 stars because the scenery was beautiful and the sound well mixed in surround.

The Revenant was a good action adventure, great action scene with bear atacks
