My favorite movie from that year. I didn’t own a blue ray disc player and recently got one. The picture is more beautiful than I remember it. Sound engineering on point. This is Alejandro's most beautiful masterpiece in my opinion.

I highly recommend this movie not only for entertainment because we all know it’s a great movie already, but if you want to showcase your 4K ultra HD TV this movie is one of the top to buy. With all natural scenery’s and natural lighting you cannot beat this movie. This movie is sure to showcase your 4K UHD TV

A fast moving story about revenge and the north western wilderness in the early 19th Century. Leo plays a grizzled Trapper Guide with a half Native American teenaged son who is killed by a reckless Trapper who lies about he killing. Leo left for dead but returned to avenge his sons murder. Great on location cinematography.

Leo goes through h#ll is this captivating, beautifully shot survival/vengeance adventure. From the bear attack to Leo trying to put himself back together, and Tom Hardy's Oscar nominated role as the treacherous Fitzgerald. It is a brutal movie but absolutely worth it. Low price for the steelbook!

Very slow movie but picture and sound are demo-worthy of course. Colors and details pop. What a performance by Leo! Not even my type of movie but still greatly enjoyed it which is saying something.

Great movie, no wonder it won all of those awards... all I have to say is that you need to make sure your 4K TV supports HDR if not you won't be able to watch it as it is meant to be. I had to put the included 1080p Blu-ray Disc and it upscaled nicely but it wasn't the 4K I wanted, not their fault, it's my fault, I know.

I watched this movie on my lg oled 4k tv with my lg sj9 Dolby atmos sound bar and the picture was amazing it's already a great movie on blu ray but it's that much better on 4k, the sound matched the picture through my soundbar, I don't believe every movie is worth getting for 4k but this one is one of few exceptions

This is the best movie to come out in years !! It's a remake of one of my favorite movies of the 70's A Man in the Wilderness, I don't want to ruin anything but its based on a true story about a man attacked by a bear and left for dead, the scenery is breathtaking the camera work is outstanding!! I highly recommend this movie!!

This was already one of my favorite films of 2015, and then I saw it on 4K HDR for the first time and it was a completely new experience. For a film that has such rich cinematography, this 4K HDR blu ray is the definitive way to watch this at home. This could easily be used as a demo disc for selling 4K TVs.

The movie has lots of action. The bear attack scene is unbelievable. DiCaprio is outstanding in his role as Glass. His drive to stay alive through the bear attack, being attacked my Indians, and the harsh winter weather is unbelievable. His drive to keep on going is hard to believe. Lots of action throughout the entire movie.

From the beautiful cinematic progressions, to the amazing casting of Hardy and Mr. DICAPRIO...this film will become a timeless classic. Personally I don't think this is Leonardo Dicaprio best work but his commitment to always giving his best is clearly evident throughout the film. Simply a must see...very powerful undertones.

Great movie. Pulls you in and holds your attention to the end. Beautiful cinematography. Leonardo Dicaprio is excellent, the scene with the bear is insane and his determination for justice is is what drives this flick. Blu ray makes it all look so real you'll want to reach out and touch the tv screen, Does not disapoint!

I recommend this movie to the viewing audience. This is one of the best movies of the year in my book. It takes you on a journey and get your emotions involved. You will find yourself gripping the seats at every turn. It incaptivates you and makes you feel if you're actually in the movie, I highly recommend this movie!

I highly recommend ay one who loves action and adventure to purchase this movie from Best Buy! "The Revenant" is a great movie to add to one's dvd collection! It is mind blowing, especially the scene where Leanardo Di Caprio fights the bear! No wonder he won his first oscar as best actor of the year!

From a visual perspective it doesn't get much better than the quality of this 4k blu-ray. While the audio might not be dolby atmos, the DTS track is just fine and even better upscaled using an atmos system.

What an excellent movie about suvival in old wilderness America! The acting was superb, as well as the cold, hostile environment, which actually made you feel the chill in your bones as you watched the movie. Leonardo DiCaprio gives an Oscar worthy performance, and Tom Hardy was very good as DiCaprio's antagonist.

This movie was breath taking, scene after scene was extraordinary. Great story of survival. The time period in which the story takes place, is an interesting one. I loved the whole Native American Indian component of the movie. An wonderful addition any movie collection. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the acting is excellent.

Loosely based on real life tracker Hugh Glass, this movie really puts the screws to you. Played by Leonardo DiCaprio in a true virtuoso performance. The movie is directed and co-written by the extremely talented Alejandaro Gonzalez Inarritu. His cinematography alone is excellent, shot on location from Canada to Argentina. Another tremendous performance is the excellent Tom Hardy playing a true villain in John Fitzgerald. This is a film that any film fan definitely does not want to miss.

The Revenant is graphic in its depiction of life during America's fur trade Era. However, the conclusion of the movie does not match historical fact. The Revenant is a good follow up to Man In The Wilderness, with Richard Harris playing the role of Sam Bass, and an earlier accounting of the adventures of Hugh Glass.

Yeah, I know. It had something about the language on the packaging. But, still I wonder what it would have been like without it. Still, it WAS a compelling movie with Leonardo DiCaprio as the man hunting the trappers who leave him for dead after he is attacked by a grizzly. If you like a revenge movie, this is it!
