As we always do before we purchase a DVD, we watch the movie in the theater.If we are pleased with the show we purchase the movie. We were impressed with this movie that we have decided to watch it again and own the DVD.

I loved loved this movie. Leonardo DiCaprio did an awesome job with this movie. The bear scene he did was so brutally gruesome. But it was so life like. I highly recommend this movie. Great looking steelbook as well.

This movie is great, starting a collection of 4K DVDs hopefully more movie we be 4K in the future. I don't have a 4 k player yet, there a bit price around 300-up. Down side is that it didn't come with a digital download.

One of my favorite films of all time is jaw-droppingly stellar in 4K UHD. Oscar-worthy performance by my boy, Leo, delivers this epic cinematic experience like no other.

This movie was intense but extremely interesting. The acting was superb. The movie was shot in a freezing location and in fact, I felt cold watching it. Some parts of this were gruesome but you could not look away.

Amazing "natural" 4K. Nothing bright and flashy but incredible environmental detail that shows the power of 4K in natural environments. A great film that will have you hooked with very little dialogue for most of it.

I am a huge movie fanatic for the past 20 years. this is by far the best experience I ever had. The 4k hdr on this disc is the best I have ever seen on any format and hope more movies turn out this amazing .

Revenant is truly a cinematic experience that everyone should witness! From the superb acting of Dicaprio and supporting cast to the exquisite cinematography! I highly recommend this movie! You will not be disappointed!

I enjoyed the time I spent watching the film for nearly 3 hours. It tells a remarkable story in a great way! Sometimes you'll have to suspend disbelief slightly. After watching it though, I'm unsure if it's a movie I would re-watch. After time, this may change but I feel content with one viewing as of now. Still worth a buy for Leo's performance alone.

The harshest of environment can't keep a father from finding a way to stay alive to seek the revenge of his murdered son in the frozen wilderness. Leonardo DiCaprio embodies the character and survives on raw emotion.

Just kidding. Even though the movie has its flaws, this steelbook certainly doesn't. Not the most inspired artwork, but a fitting aesthetic and looks pretty solid in my collection. Great value for the money.

I didn't watch the movie I was in the movie that's the way I felt I'm talking 4K version the blood was so clear the snow was so white and dicaprio was dicaprio one of the best and definitely one of my fav actors

Be ready to experience some brutal weaknesses of men. This movie is full of a myriad of the dark forces that inhabit the corruptible hearts of men. Thankfully you will experience the bright and victorious conclusion.

The movie starts out in an intense scene. After about 5 minutes is slows down a lot. Keep watching, I promise you won't regret it. Amazing acting job from all involved. Each actor really took on the their characters!

This was a long movie, almost 3 hours, but it was worth every minute. I have watched it a few times and it is just as good the third time as the first. Great story, great acting, great scenery. Another winner for Leo!!

Sony is a great product but this player is not a 4 k dvd player it streams other products the best buy workers had no idea that it would not play 4 k Dvds and 2 sales guys told me it would other than that great player.

The camera work is the first thing that caught my eye, second was the acting, and third was the sprawling locations. A movie about brutal revenge that leaves you hanging on to the edge of your seat till the very end.

This movie should have won Best Picture. Inarritu's lousy movie last year, Birdman, did win, so you take the opinion of the academy with a grain of salt. At least, Leonardo DiCaprio did win for Best Actor. A must see.

What a great movie overall, leonardo definitely deserved that award. And of course Tom Hardy is outstanding as a lead man. Excellent directing and overall film experience. A must own for movie goers and collectors!

Wow! What great visuals for a great movie. The entire movie is shot outdoors for the most part and I must say, it is breathtaking! This is the movie, you show off to your friends if you have the proper 4k setup.
